Jokes aside a season is worth between 5-6K.....150K plus. Sell the tickets for half price....Profit and go to college on their dime.

The article breaks down the cost of everything (some are obvious estimates, like a seat with Livvy Dunn) and some of the others really have no actual value than whatever those memories are worth to you, and it came up to a little over $400k, then he doubled it over the 30 year run and still less worth than the card.

the kid does not live in pittsburgh and likely won't move there just to watch every game, it's a kid he's not retired
so that offer is not a great benefit to him
take the cash, hire an advisor and invest is solid performing funds that will pay for college easily and beyond

A. The Braves have "won so much"? 2 world series since they moved to Atlanta in 1966 (58 years), and in their recent prime when they reached the playoffs for decades with some of the greatest pitching staffs you'll ever see (Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Neagle, etc), they choked year after year. They won in 2021 but not because of iconic pitching.

B. The Yankees have "won so much" in recent years? They've spent like trillions and yet have 1 world series title in the past 25 years. For how much a team has spent and how much fanfare a team gets, the Yankees from 2001 to 2025 are the biggest failure in sports history.
