The brood of agitators run the gamut from longtime professional protesters, to otherwise carefree writers and poets. Most have long histories steeped in transgender activism. Don't be a hypocrite, Netrixters! Quit using "they" with a singular antecedent. In fact, the Illiterate Liberal Language Lords go out of their way to put the antecedent in the singular, just to slam our brains with the anti-individualist "they."
"He" has always been used for the indefinite gender of "he or she." Don't use that clumsy substitute, either.
He has the basic meaning of "this person," just as the related here means "this place."
