1 year in Phoenix, AZ ??? Reviews

it’s 110 F for 16 weeks ?? wtf ?? Global warming??

I guess you don't know that the name Arizona basically means "Arid Zone." You see, a desert in Mexico extends up into Arizona and Yuma actually has sand dunes.
You're in the fricking DESERT there, Matey--- that is why a 12 foot Saguaro CACTUS sits outside your bedroom window and there are scorpions under your house.

That isn’t going to solve the diminishing water problem.
Sure it will. Overcrowding is what is contributing to it.

Stop building new apartment buildings and subdivisions, and stop importing millions of illegals.

But honestly, there is no water problem.

You can deport all the illegals but you still have way too many in an environment that can’t sustain the population. It isn’t illegals, it is the fact that has become a popular place to live. Isn’t it one of the fastest growing cities?

Though, I will agree Phoenix (and some other desert cities) are trying to plan for an inevitable future with less water.

Pros

Excellent demographics!!
Tons of conservative whites everywhere and Mexicans
Good looking people here !! Feels like 1990s America

Very few blacks , Muslims or Asians !!!

Negative
Summer is 4 months long of triple heat !!
Utterly insane !!

What part of Phoenix ? It's a huge place. There are plenty of places with lots of blacks.

The city recently shut down a request to build a ton of homes out west citing water as the issue.

So why is Katie Slobs allowing more growth to include the illegals?

Scorpions, black widow spiders, stinging venomous centipedes, cockroaches, giant lizards,
kissing bugs, rattlesnakes, tarantula wasps, and killer bees. Even mountain lions and black bears.
I see coyotes a lot and those big wild pigs

Alaska. Pluses; low population, plenty of wide open acreage & LONG SUMMER DAYS. Beautiful creatures; Caribou, SITKA BLACK-TAILED DEER(exotic), moose & great fishing both on & off shore. EXCELLENT PAY/EARLY RETIREMENTS!!!

Negatives; long winter nights(Fairbanks & north 24/7 total darkness), freaking COLD(Anchorage & north) like 30/50 -F without wind chill, strong winds plus Katabatic winds(no words exist to describe these katabatic winds except AVOID), short summers(Anchorage north), LONG days 24/7 daylight, HOT +100F, earthquakes by the numbers, highest suicide rate of all 50 states.

Southern Alaska; the further south one goes weather is more like Seattle but with much more rain. There is a reason WHY Juneau the state capital is located further south & that's to avoid what I called "Ice Station Zebra"(Anchorage & north).

Alaska is a great place to make a LOT of $$$$$ quick, like 12/7 is not uncommon shifts(outdoors) due to short summers. Alaska is a great place to vacation @ during the SUMMER MONTHS/WEEKS(depending on longitude) but is not for the feint hearted. Bears are everywhere both black & humpbacks so large bore revolvers(41 cal.+) are a must ESPECIALLY when stream/river fishing. The further north one is in Alaska the less night life, for sure during winter. I refused to work north of Fairbanks as the weather gets much more extreme so I cannot comment on the area north of Fairbanks from personal experience. I did make the Aleutian Islands ONCE but would not go out again despite the incredible pay as everything to do with that island chain, the entire area just felt not right. Not just me but the entire crew got the heber jebers out there. We called the area the end of the world.

Arizona sounds to me to be the extreme opposite of Ice Station Zebra, like 2 different worlds !
