While the atmospheric heat was in some measure arguable....the gargantuan mass of heat energy required to change ocean temps even slightly....is not. Whether we can effect change by CO2 mitigation remains to be seen and is certainly not guaranteed. But the oceans cannot be ignored...if the ocean is heating that quickly we have a real problem and I don't think we have any way of estimating the potential exponential aggregate going forward.Cool.
