His music probably saved my live. The 70s were rough, older brother on drugs, older sis headed that direction, bad stepdad, mom always working.... 9 year old boy really needed JD back then. I pretty much owe my life to him, everyone else I mentioned is long dead. I probably would have been too if not for JD.

Thanks for the rep. I too saw Denver live, at the Cal Farley Coliseum in Amarillo Texas, the summer after I saw Elvis there in one of his very last shows. I'm very fortunate to have seen both live.

The Denver album I mentioned in the thread, was from the same tour I saw in Amarillo. And until recently was pretty rare and hard to get. Now you can buy it digital on Amazon.
