Thanks to all of you who said a prayer for my hard fall this week. The maxillofacial specialist said while I had a lot of crushed bones in my face, the eye socket bone was crushed below, which is why I can still see as well as why my face feels paralyzed. He ordered me to take it easy for a week. By Friday they can make a better assessment, but he said the type of breaks I received from the fall heal best on their own but may take up to six months to lose the tingling sensation caused by nerve damage. Will try and remember to go to my appointment next Friday. I have to visit my GP Monday so she can assess my other issues associated with pain management of Fibromyalgia and parathyroidectomy seizure episodes in the extremities, mainly legs.
