I'm fine with profanity used as an exclamation point (that ******* whatever...), but when anyone laces an entire posting with it, it's difficult to get past that and to the point attempting to be made. I simply won't read posts like that.
I've gotten into many donnybrooks with people here, been sworn at and poked fun at too many times to count. But as you can tell from the thread you started, I'm nonetheless respected.
I rarely even go to the other non-political topics anyway. I check out the Flame Zone only when I'm bored, which is how I happened to catch your thread about me. Frankly, I don't think you've been here long enough to make even amusing assessments of any other poster. When it's done, usually the subject person AND the person posting about him/her have been around this block many times.

MaggieMae, your reaction to my "bad language" is not the first time someone I thought was appealing flinched, and I dun get it. I have begun a thread called "Talking Dirty After Midnight" and I hope you will join in and explain your POV. I know you are angry with me....I am not sure why exactly though. You surely must realise I did not know/expect/want to offend you personally when I wrote with "bad words"?
If you wish, I'd be most interested to hear your thoughts on the use of "bad words" here on USMB. I will of course completely understand if you choose to just completely ignore the thread or to ignore me altogether. I feel we'd both lose if you do, but I will respect whatever you choose to do, as I feel we all deserve to choose whom we permit to affect us.
