    I have done that, but not this time.

    I don't know of any rule reguarding telling who is on your ignore list. Ollie showed his last week, so people could vote on who to take off. I don't have anyone on ignore either. I weild the power of the might scroll button!

    The problem in politics, especially the rhetoric, is that people (myself included) don't like to lose. ;)

    I do think what I hate the most is the silly politicking, not sticking to issues that really matter. And to that, I will always respond with ass firmly in air, usually preceded with an all caps profanity.

    In mine world too. In fact, probably more than you would think. Compromise is, often, what is best for the country... often we think our own opinion is more important and what we as individuals think is best, is actually best.... it's not. Mostly, the best interests of America are served by finding common solutions. Not my way - not your way... but an 'our' way.

    No it wasn't voluntary, Dis banned me because I called her an idiot for abusing her admin powers.

    There is no valid reason why non-copyrighted material should be cut off (especially at the whim of a moderator who gets to decide which parts to leave and which parts to cut). That was my problem with something I posted. But I finally just posted the rest of it in another page, so he lost anyway.

    Some of the mods do get carried away with their importance. "Dude" (aka "Oddball" now) was a mod, but suddenly lost his rank and I was told it was because he was doing the same thing as Intense, so maybe his days are numbered too. At the very least, he should have allowed a discussion on copyrights to advance beyond two pages. When I started another thread questioning his move, he deleted mine too and then sent me a PM giving the same explanation you state.

    Intense locked the thread I started asking about the rules for non-copyrighted material because he wants to hide the fact that he is abusing his role as a mod by making up rules about posting noncopyrighted material

    He claims that non-copyrighted material must be linked to. He says it is an unwritten rule that "everyone knows". He has locked the thread because he doesn't want to reveal that he is abusing his mod powers and making stuff up as he goes along.

    You don't have to like her. She is a snot to those who disagree with her. She mistakes agreement for friendship, a common ailment on this board.
