LOL. He doesn't think things through too much. I am passionate about this particular topic. It's a great disappointment to me from the administration.
I still say if obama is truly interested in reform he should pick at the low hanging fruit instead of the entire fruit tree.
Start with tort reform. You will get support from both reps and dems on tort reform and its something the citizens of the country would support.
Its easy to do, just pass a tort reform bill, he could have it by christmas no problem. Then he would have actually gotten a real and effective cost saving reform done. This would not only boost his approval and the people's trust in him on health care, it would also boost congress' approval.
The boost in approval would lead to him being able to pass insurance reform next, another item of health care that he can get bi-partisan support for.
But I'm just a racist since I dont like the massive overhaul method

Seriously, if the tea partiers were an honest movement I'd support them. Overspending is overspending, no matter who does it. But these people and their shills (Beck, Freedom Works, et al) are no different than the loons that have been jerking the Republicans chains for years.

The media and some politicians are making up shit about who the Tea Party people truly are so i figured i'd leave a little tidbit here for those who are still confused:
We want smaller not bigger government
We want economic responsibility from our democrats and republicans, no more gigantic deficit spending
We want lower taxes for ALL Americans, from poor to rich
And we want to vote out all the corrupt democrats and republicans from office, which means kicking every single senator and congressperson out of office in 2010 from either side and replacing them with new Democrats and Republicans.
