Take the recent announcement by GM to shutter factories in the U.S. and Canada so it can become a green manufacturer and a technology company all at once. GM could save “$4.5 billion by the end of 2020, freeing up money to invest in electric and self-driving vehicles,” according to The Wall Street Journal. GM layoffs are only the beginning of disruptions in AI revolution

Gee some honesty, how refreshing. They were sacrificed for the good of the planet. Gm is playing catch up here. EU sar companies have big jump on them so they'll need to get it right the first time,

Think we should create a civic award for people like this, say Defenders of the Planet. We could couple it with an extra $50 per month social security per time fired in service to gaia. This would give people incentive to take those jobs Americans wont do. God bless them. Sure they feel very proud.
