It may be impossible to spill too much ink discussing the incredible, virtually overnight transformation in American energy trade. In 2005, the United States was the world's top net energy importer, relying on imports for 30% of its total energy and 60% of all petroleum consumption. By 2022 and perhaps sooner, Uncle Sam is expected to elbow his way to near the front of the global trade line and become a net energy exporter.
This Trend Could Erase America's Energy Trade Deficit by 2022
Stupid Palin.....thankfully Obama was not able to prevent this

That surge happened under the Great Obama

Yep no getting past increased drilling. Too many are for it and could care less about unintended consequences. There’s really only 1 option if we ever have to deal with negative effects of AGW, and that’s cleaning carbon out of the atmosphere:

NASA’s CO2 Conversion Challenge Offers $1 Million Reward – Monroe Aerospace News

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is hosting a new contest with a $1 million reward. Known as the CO2 Conversion Challenge, it seeks to pioneer new ways to convert carbon dioxide into glucose. Anyone who has an idea for such a conversion process can submit it to NASA for a chance to win $1 million.

Plant a damn tree.
Why are we wasting tax dollars on this idiocy?

As soon as you whiney twats support useful, CO2 free energy, like nuclear, we'll know you're serious.

Only because he couldn't do anything to stop it.

I do. Too bad it’s unbelievably dangerous. I suspect there will be a demand when they can be made in space to power things up there, far from human lives. Btw, your side opposes it as much, if not more than any other side.

But CO2 is gonna kill the planet. Next to that, a few thousand cubic feet of spent fuel rods ain't shit.

the planet will die without co2, lets trust the democrats not to take too much, ha, ha, ha. But wait, the solution is to cover the entire planet with solar and wind power. The solution is to use heavy industry 24/7 forever building more and more. Consuming more, setting records for largest ever built. Heavy industry 24/7 will save the planet?

CO2 is the foundation of all life on this planet.
