You have to admit, it's pretty darn FUNNY!

You couldn't run a more dirty campaign than Corzine did. The best part of him losing was that his weak "Blame BOOOOOOOOOSSHH" chit didn't work this time around. Christie sent that corrupt rat scurrying back to his rat hole where he belongs and that's a good thing for America and especially New Jersey.

Did they win any seats in this election? They did win two governorships. Congratulations.

With the exception of a special election, since this is an odd numbered year (feel free to update this possibly stale information, of course), there were not a whole lot of "seats" up for grabs.

But nice attempt at rationalization. :cuckoo:

Loon.

No, no. Republicans put a lot of money into the NY race and they were quite certain they would take it. Had that happened, they would be posting thread after thread bragging about it.

Sarah and Fred just couldn't get the job done. I don't know how any Republican can still have that kind of faith in them. (Sorry about Fred but it's a fact he just didn't get it done.)

Nonsense, Sarah. Certain CONSERVATIVES made a concerted effort to help Hoffman because: the nominal GOP candidate (a damn RINO at best) was a terrible candidate; the liberal Dem candidate looked to be "get-able"; and because the conservative contender looked like he might just be able to pull it off. The GOP put a lot of effort and money backing the lib RINO boss-hand-picked pretender.

Sarah almost GOT the job done DESPITE the weakness of the head of the ticket.

Fred, sadly, just ran a weak, lazy, tired and ultimately ineffectual "campaign." The man had GREAT ideas, but lacked the fire in the belly (or the youth?) to "get 'er done." I was WAY off the mark regarding my prediction about Fred for that reason. Not even close. And that's a true loss for America.

John McCain just did not have the right stuff and President Obama is 95% the WRONG stuff. And despite the liberal Democrat spin du jour, the American electorate has shown signs of recognizing just how horrid the current Administration and liberal Democrat Congress are.

And how many times did Obama show up for Corzine? Several. Congratulations to New Jersey voters for waking up. Not only did Corzine lose, but it was a shot across the Bow of Obama, The Statists in the Congress and the road they've got us on.

It's also a sign that the era of "Blame Bush" is over. ;)
This economy is the sole property [responsibility] of Obama, and the Congress Hands down.

The christian right faction did not want Dede to win because she was pro choice and pro gay issues. Sarah and Fred backed the Inde because he was pro life and anti gay. It's just politics but I am saying that Sarah and Fred did back this guy and now they are spinning it like oh well, we'll do better in 2010 for ya. Wink.

I agree about McCain but obviously not about Obama being wrong 95% of the time. He's having trouble with his footing these last few months but I believe he'll turn out to be a better than average president.

The faux bogeyman target of the latest left-wing propaganda effort is the so-called Christian right faction." Such a meaningless random combination of words.

Tsk tsk.

The facts remain. Dede sucked as a candidate, but sucked even worse as a nominal "Republican." She was going to be heading down the toilet.

Hoffman (evidently not a sterling campaigner himself) at least had a shot. The liberal Dem supporters pushed HARD to get Owens elected. And the rim shot is Dede throwing her waning support to the lbieroidal Democratic.

President Obama is a failure of a President so far, but things are looking MUCH worse for him.

The Democrat Parody is living in fear this fine and glorious day. For all of their self-serving efforts at spin notwithstanding, they DO know how to count beans. And when they do the math, the numbers paint one UGLY picture for their near future.

Which gutsy ballsy brave liberal Democrat Congresscritters are going to march in lockstep, now, to the Pelousy demand for a vote on the health care disaster of a bill?

The acid test is whether she can even force Congress to heed her call to get it voted on this week or weekend.

I have made a few TERRIBLE predictions in my day. But I wonder how many liberal Democratics who post here are actually willing to go out on the proverbial limb, now, to predict that the Health Care Bill is going to get put to a vote by Saturday as Pelousy is trying to demand.

^ Might make my "Fred" prediction look brilliant by comparison! Any takers?

I just watched Governor-elect Chris Christie (R-NJ) give a victory speech and I can't imagine anyone who watched it wasn't rolling in "irony".

Cristie went on and on about how the American people have rejected personal attacks and smears. You see, Corzine focused on Christie's weight during the campaign. These days, that type of campaigning is definitely a losing strategy. Personal attacks make you look desperate and it makes you look like you have nothing else to run on.

The irony is that came from a Republican.

Remember:

Racist
Marxist
Fascist
Socialist
Empty suit
Fried Chicken and ribs
Terrorist
Illegal Alien
Kill Grandma
Death Panels
Appeaser
Dithering

It proves that a Republican can win, but not by calling Michelle Obama a “ho” or any of the other personal and disgraceful attacks by Republicans. It makes them look, well, “desperate” and makes them look like “they have nothing else to run on.

This reasoning is exactly why you are going to see a shit load of unemployed Democrat politicians come the 2012 elections. People are just getting tired of all the bullshit the Democrats are throwing down and this kind of reasoning is a perfect example what I am talking about. The big scam is over. Time for the Democrats to either start producing or clean out their desks. No more trash talk. Everybody has had enough of the "It was all Bush's fault" crap. Tired of all the corruption in government. Tired of all the double speak and high brow attitudes. People want the economy to get straightened out and for the government to stop spending all of the money we don't have to spend. The promised "change" has not happened that we were all told about when Obama got elected. Now people are looking for somebody who can deliver on some change be it good or bad. Just no more business as usual from our politicians. Make fun of the Republicans if you wish but so far the Democrats haven't done shit except to spend a lot of money and turn our country into a socialist nation. Take a hike Democrats. You've had your chance and you've blown it.

The blind must think that the Dems never do personal attacks, so I can see how it would be ironic.

As if both sides don't say despicable things about their opposition. Classic one-sided mindset in the OP

Now if the guy who won did use personal attacks (which i dont know if he did or didnt) then yes this would be a hillarious and ironic speech.

But if he didn't use personal attacks then the OP is just projecting.

I echo your sentiment. On a related note? Check this gutsy move out?

Of Course NOT!! Dems and liberals are above such rudimentary name callings!!

When was the last time a Dem called a Republican a:Nazi,Facist, Blood thirsty War monger, greedy or stupid/idiot?

No--Democrats do not use insults like Fanatic, nutjob or crazy--Dems have a higher purpose to serve the people and do not seek power for personal gain, but to help the citizenry realize the beauty of Marxi---uh Liberal ideas.

Only Republicans dive in the mud like a Pig and go oink oink--hogging their personal wealth while sharing and giving your wealth to others is the liberal way!! Democrats are like pure benevolent angels that descend from the heavens with nothing but good intentions to his fellow man.

Vote Democrat--they are always honest, forthright statesmen!!!

(Do I sound delusional yet?)

Teabaggers a compliment? Ok.

You know what I thought it meant? Well, nevermind.
