Of course, it would have been easier to just not invite Mafia Don who is under criminal investigation.
But the Bush family went the high road and invited Trump and his immigrant wife.
They may have invited Trump as a sign of respect to the Office of the President, but that's not how Trump or anyone else will see it.
Bush was everything Trump could never be.
Bush was a WWII Hero, not a coward like Trump.
Bush reached across the isle and passed legislation to raise taxes on wealthy Americans trying to balance the budget. Not help Republicans loot the country.
Bush saved Kuwait from Iraq's Saddam, fought a war and won without leaving us mired in a disaster.
Bush proved he was the leader of the Free World.
Bush oversaw the unification of Eastern Germany and Western Germany into just Germany.
And a whole bunch of other things. Things that actually helped the majority of Americans.
Whether Trump is impeached or not, he's a criminal, a Mafioso Don. Trump is despised all over the world. Trump clearly works for Putin and the Prince of Saudi Arabia. We no longer lead the free world and many of our former friends see us as more dangerous than Putin. And all of that thanks to Trump and the GOP.
Every eulogy given at Bush's funeral will be a rebuke to Trump. Whether they are purposely aiming at Trump or not, he will see it as a rebuke. And he won't be able to leave. He will have to sit there with all those cameras on him whether he wants them there or not. He will be furious orange when he sees the Bush family embracing the Obama's and the Clinton's.
The only way out of it is for Trump to decline going. And that will make Trump look like an even bigger pu$$y than he looks now if that is even possible.
All eyes will be on Trump.
This couldn't be worse for Trump, not even if they had spurned him and not invited him to go.
Whether Trump freaks out and decides not to show up, the eulogies will be televised. He won't be able to escape, not even when watching Fox.
