Trying to Use Israeli Independence Day to Proselytize

A team of some 50 missionaries from around the world arrived in Israel at the weekend to bolster local cults and help them take advantage of the large Independence Day crowds to reach unsuspecting Jews with their missionary material and message. Yad L'Achim had received early warning and was out in force to foil them.

On Monday evening and Tuesday, the missionaries took up positions at central locations in major cities, including: Allenby Street in Tel Aviv, Bialik Street in Ramat Gan and the Machaneh Yehudah open-air market in Jerusalem. To their surprise and dismay, they were greeted everywhere by Yad L'Achim activists who were cautioning passersby not to be taken in by them and not to take any of their material.

"These are enemies of the Jewish people," an activist would call out to anyone the missionaries tried to engage in conversation. "They want to get Jews to convert out of their religion."

Precedent-Setting Ruling Allows School to Break Rental Contract with Missionaries

A Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court has rejected a petition by missionaries asking that a school in Netanya be forced to honor a rental agreement with them and to pay them NIS 108,000 in damages and aggravation for breaking the agreement.

The judge also ordered the missionaries to pay court costs.

The missionaries, hiding behind the innocuous-sounding name Hamitzpeh l'Yisrael, rented classrooms from the Raziel school in Netanya during after-school hours. Shortly after signing the agreement, the school administration learned that the organization was a front for the J's Witness cult and cancelled the contract.

The missionaries petitioned the court demanding that the school be forced to honor the agreement and compensate it to the tune of NIS 108,000.

In his verdict, the judge roundly rejected the petition, saying "there can be no doubt" that had the school known beforehand that the renter represented a missionary group "no agreement would have been signed."

The main struggle, however, was waged on Tuesday afternoon, when tens of thousands of Jews arrived to watch the Israel Air Force flyover along the promenade in Tel Aviv. Missionaries were spread out along the length of the promenade, distributing their missionary material. But many Jews, who were shocked and disgusted at the sight, phoned Yad L'Achim's hotline, and activists were immediately dispatched to the area. Many of these concerned citizens even joined in the effort to stymie the missionaries.

It is illegal in Israel and has nothing to do with freedom of speech, if these foreigners cant abide by the LAWS OF ISRAEL then they should not be there.

Quite right to, if they need to LIE then they have something to hide.

The only ones you know happen to post on here.

But what would happen if the same missionaries tried to do this in Jordan or Egypt, do you think they would be met with peacefull methods. Or is it more likely that they would be met with violence, even murder for their illegal antics.

Why can the Islamic nations have racist intolerant laws to keep people out but Israel cant ?

Well, the fact is if one is a real Christian then they must confront Jesus very own words which are an instruction to go into the world and share the good news. I definitely believe there are many ways to do this, that go beyond simple proselytizing. But sharing the Gospel includes proselytizing. A nation that forbids this is going against Jesus teachings. And Christians have a choice in Palestine, do they follow the Zionist laws or Jesus commands.

We all see how Zionists there look at Christians. There is a story reported today by Ma'an of an attack by settlers on a Christian cleric's car. There are attacks on Churches. There is ethnic cleansing against Christians. Jews who accept Jesus are constantly under attack, we should all remember the Purim gift that blew up in a young boy's hands.

I expect a special place in hell awaiting this groups members addressed in the OP. May they all get there as soon as possible, absent of course they repent from sin and accept Jesus as their Messiah and Lord. That would obviously be the best outcome.

Proselytizing is illegal in Israel It is illegal for all people ----including jews. The people most
in favor of this law are MUSLIMS It is very typical of islamo Nazi pigs to imply that the law
is a slap in the face at Christianity because that is what islamo Nazi pigs do In fact it is
a restriction on proselytizing of muslims and Christians to Judaism just as much as a law
against proselytizing jews to Christianity------islamo Nazi pigs ignore that fact. The purpose of
the law is to avoid the kind of filth that is generated by proselytizing-----the kind of strife that has,,
historically been responsible for the death by murder of hundreds of millions ------the kind of
stuff that has been greeted with orgiastic triumph by islamo Nazi pigs------to wit ----the
INQUISITION and the murder of more than 100 million hindus in less than 100 years.

an interesting factoid of history is that millions were murdered in the Americas because of
the penchant for proselytizing that islamo Nazi pigs support. The Spanish CONQUISTADORES---
brought the INQUISITION to the Americas----------it justified the murder of Montezuma
et al by pig HERNAN CORTEZ------islamo Nazi par excellance

conversion to any religion is legal in Israel-------it is a capital crime in shariah----
and legally -----a problem for anyone in any Islamic nation ---even those that style
themselves democratic

Jesus words to the Satan followers of Yad L'Achim:

Matthew 23

37*“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you,*how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings,*and you were not willing.38*Look, your house is left to you desolate.39*For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’[c]”

And I cannot get the link in the OP to work, but I am not too upset, Satan can keep them all for himself. I have no problem with that.

anyone who believes that sherri is a Christian is naïve----she quotes the islamo Nazi literature
that was generated by Nazi war criminals in Syria and Egypt----post world war II----chapter and
verse. I read it as a child-----and laughed-----then I ran into people educated in muslim schools
in southeast asia who parroted it just as easily as does sherri

Sherri probably was a Christian but when she said her husband was Iraqui and fought in the war there we realize she is a muslim and of course she typed Inshah Allah a few months ago.

Matthew 23 is in the Christian Bible, Jesus own words, as true today as they were when He spoke them in Palestine close to 2000 years ago.
