1. Wasn't Wray hired by Trump? If so, did he not know enough about Wray to get someone else? It sounds like some people around Trump misled him.

2. Are there legal reasons why Wray did not comply with the subpoena? I believe the same tactic was used when the democrats wanted info from the Trump Administration, but either way how does one justify ignoring a subpoena?

3. Why are Senators and Reps always so reluctant to abolish some govt agency or another? Gov't Agencies exist for a reason, mandated by law to perform certain functions. They can be abolished if the function is no longer needed, we do have a few agencies that are no longer useful and could be reduced in size and money if not eliminated altogether. But if the function they perform is still needed then it makes no sense to abolish the appropriate agency cuz the job still needs to get done. The DOJ, FBI, ATF, and other agencies shouldn't be abolished but the leadership therein needs to be changed.

4. Right now there is very little in the way of deterrence for corruption in the federal gov't, if not outright illegal acts. Too many elected officials are not held accountable for anything, and the current justice system makes it extremely hard to prosecute and convict the guilty unelected officials. I hope that situation changes, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen anytime soon. I do think eventually there will be a huge hue and cry to fix our broken gov't, maybe even a 3rd political party will emerge. But that's gonna take awhile to occur and I think things are going to get worse before they get better.
