In the book Freakonomics there was a chapter on this subject. In part they said that here in the US in the 1990's crime dropped dramatically. Over in another country (I forget where) crime had skyrocketed. Here in the US you had mayors and politicians telling all kinds of different approaches they took or fighting crime. The book said that either all their remedies or none did. Over in this other country there were all kinds reasons why crime had took a dramatic upward turn. The the book goes into all these different reasons and analyzes them all. But the one constant correlation was abortion. Around the same time in the 1970's, America made abortions legal white this other country outlawed them. Do you think this is just a coinky-dink? Not sayint they are right or wrong, just asking opinions.
