word perfect help

I used word perfect 11 to type a long letter (which I usually don't do). I saved it to my desktop to make it easier to find but now it won't open. Says something about unexecutable parameters. Can this baby be saved?

I'm sure you've done this, but I'll ask anyway. Have you tried opeing it from WP? If you open the file menu, it should be at the very bottom. It may also give a better description of what's wrong with the doc. It's been awhile for me, I was using Mac for ages (booo hisss). Back in the day of working as a secretary, I always opened docs from there.

You can also right click the desktop icon, select "open with" and navigate to the WP executable.
