Grand Blanc woman facing 20-year felony for alleged death threat over mask mandate

Burt is accused of phoning in death threats against Hackert and Genesee County Health Department Deputy Director Kayleigh Blaney.

"A Grand Blanc woman is facing three charges after she allegedly called in a death threat to top Genesee County Health Department officials over a mask mandate for schools. 42-year-old Helaina Burt has been charged with one count of making a false report or threat of terrorism and two counts of malicious use of a telecommunications service. She faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of the terrorism charge. Prosecutor David Leyton said, “The caller identified herself as Rosa Parks, and said that we know where the health director and the deputy health director live, and they need to leave their children alone, or they’re going to kill them.” Leyton said Burt called from her cell phone, so they were able to track her down at her Grand Blanc home easily. Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson said there was no immediate threat to Hackert, Blaney or the staff at the health department. But uniformed personnel were assigned to protect health department employees."



This is going way overboard....obviously this woman was just being sarcastic when she called health department officials and threaten to kill them; she called herself Rosa Parks for God's sake.....but like Rosa, this woman was just trying to defend her rights the best way she could -- and also like Rosa, she threatened to kill the people who were taking away her freedom...and maybe she has a point...maybe we need to threaten to kill these doctors and so-called science professionals in order to get them back in line..You are going to have to threaten more of these public health people, school board people and others until they do what you want them to do or better yet, threaten them until they quit and then you can appoint people who care more about freedom. Hopefully all charges are dropped against this woman and the courts do the right thing.

Time and chance happens to everyone. It is best to have all to be vaccinated. That will eliminate the mask thing. Take this virus seriously. People are dying. People are getting lung damage. What virus causes a persons hair to fall out? This one does that. It is like getting chemo therapy. Get the vaccinations.

Come on, now. Let's find out who spiked her coffee, and let her out of jail as soon as she sobers up, or we're going to disbar every last lawyer and judge involved. Health Department personnel are already mass murderers guilty of much, much worse than that. She didn't do anything worth 20 years in prison, no wonder people want those county health department jackasses to die.
