If Big Orange plans to fire his way down the upper leadership of the Justice Department until he finds someone who will cooperate, House Republicans’ jobs will be at stake. House Republicans know the 2018 Mid-term elections will be here quicker than most people realize, so they will be forced to take action.
As people who put party before country, conservatives naturally want their congressmen to do everything to help cover up Big Orange’s crimes, as well as those of his cronies. But, the majority of Americans want honest people running this country.
If the hammer falls, and Big Orange begins firing potential investigators, he will be on the same road as Tricky Dick. But unlike Nixon, Big Orange’s VP, Pence, is as dirty and crooked as he is, so an immediate pardon can’t happen.
Paul Ryan is next in line, but it is doubtful he would take such a dangerous political risk to his own, newly acquired presidency by pardoning the Big Orange Head. By the time Big Orange needs a pardon, his massive corruption will have been exposed. He and his crime family will make the Nixon team’s crimes look like kids stealing apples.
