Why would you sign a deal with Iran, and then not release it for five days?

Oh, so I'm dumb because.... wait...

The FORMAL signing agreement isn't until Friday, which means it's not binding until Friday which means no deal HAS BEEN ******* SIGNED.

But Trump is saying it's been signed.

Now that's why I ask.

But obviously we can't expect thickos from MAGA to actually point out the TRUTH, can we?

Trump is a liar. A huge ******* liar, and you idiots lick up his words like dream about licking his penis every night.
No, you’re just demonstrating your ignorance of how contracts work. Your argument boils down to: “There’s a ceremony on Friday, therefore nothing could have been signed before Friday.” That’s not legal analysis — 🤣

It spends the same, right?
You tell me, since you’re apparently the expert. Are a private investment fund and a taxpayer-funded appropriation the same thing because “money got spent”?

If so, you’ve managed to erase the distinction between private capital and government spending with a single sentence. Quite an achievement.

You tell me, since you’re apparently the expert.
Thanks....I believe it's just a factor of most of the board (being a right leaning board) are morons.

Not sure who you're quoting there. I said,

It spends the same, right?
So you lied right there. Are you physically incapable of telling the truth?

So now that we've easily dispatched your lie; lets look at what I actually said shall we?

Whether Iran gets money from the sales of oil which they will, the sales of other exports which they will, the trading of arms which they will or $300,000,000,000.00 from foreign investment which they will....all of those rubles, yen, yuan, francs, pounds, pesos and dollars--oh wait; US Companies we're not allowed to invest in the market we created by spending hundreds of billions of dollars in materials losing 13 American lives, hundreds of injured--many permanently soldiers--...all of that money pouring in to Iran will be spent by the Iranians regardless of where it comes from.
If so, you’ve managed to erase the distinction between private capital and government spending with a single sentence. Quite an achievement.
I said it spends the same. Which it does.

As an ardent supporter of Mara-Lard-Ass, you would do well to remember that the first law of being a bullshit artist is to not BS yourself. You just did by trying to change what I said. You were caught. And now you look even more dishonest than usual.

I dunno. The war with Iran has been a pretty big win for Trump. Hardly anyone talking about Epstein these days.
Or tariffs, or trade imbalances, or his cabinet shake ups, or ICE murdering people.

It served the purpose it was designed for....the only thing that didn't go as planned was that we lost.

Guaranteed by the US.

Based on the credibility of the two parties involved, I'd say this agreement is rock solid.

You’ve moved the goalposts.

Nobody argued Iran wouldn’t spend money it receives. The question was whether a private investment fund and a taxpayer-funded appropriation are equivalent.

Your answer appears to be: “Money gets spent either way.”

By that logic, venture capital, foreign direct investment, corporate expansion, consumer spending, and federal appropriations are all the same thing because eventually someone spends the money — not a serious analysis of finance. You’re fundamentally reducing different sources of capital, risk, ownership, and accountability into a meaningless observation that money eventually changes hands.

No I didn't. You lied about what I wrote as I demonstrated.

Liar.

Ahh so now "appears to be" makes an appearance.

Nice try liar.

Spin away liar.

That’s a lot of “liar” and very little explanation.

I’ve asked repeatedly why a private investment fund and a taxpayer-funded appropriation should be treated as equivalent.

It’s obvious you don’t understand it.

Well, it's accurate too. You lied.
I’ve asked repeatedly why a private investment fund and a taxpayer-funded appropriation should be treated as equivalent.
It doesn't matter. It spends the same. They'll buy more bombs, more drones, more tanks, etc....
It’s obvious you don’t understand it.
I do understand you tried to mis-quote me and got caught.

Stop lying...liar.

Perfect. So we’ve moved from “they’re the same thing” to “they aren’t the same thing, but I don’t care about the difference.”

🤣🤣

If the Country wasen's an autocratic hellhole under Trump thanks to his Republican stooges he'd be impeached over this fiasco.

Thirteen members of our military lost their lives for NOTHING.
This is what he does, when there is no one around him to tell him "no".

A shiny object gets his attention, he creates absolute chaos, isolates America even further, wiggles his way out of it, everyone else deals with the chaos, and then he's claiming some big "victory" and is on to his next shiny object.

Canada, Greeland, Denmark, Gaza, Iran, tariffs, ICE raids, threatening the Fed, threating businesses, threatening the press, destroying America's legal infrastructure, on and on and on and on.

And he has every resource at his disposal to produce maximum carnage. This is a child with a bazooka.

No.

What it boils down to is Trump comes out with "we've got an agreement", but doesn't tell anyone what it is. There's stuff being leaked, but he's not coming out and saying "this is what the details are". Then he says we'll find out on Friday.

Then he signs the deal, which is a 14 point agreement.

But right now I can't tell if this deal is just an agreement to get a deal. Because that's what it's looking like. Nobody can really tell what it is, because Trump isn't being honest about what it is.

Trump wants people to think this is a deal to end the war. It's not.

It's a deal that agrees that in 60 days they'll try and get an agreement.

When asked about stuff, Vance gives a little cryptic "well, a lot of the stuff is fake news", but won't say if specific bits are true or not, in typically MAGA bullshit style.

Point one is a "ceasefire". Not an end to the war, just a ceasefire.

The rest is basically Straight of Hormuz will reopen and the US won't attack Iran.

Until point 6 when SANCTIONS WILL END. Oh, wow. So Iran will get a lot of money by selling oil, which is exactly the opposite to Trump's policy in his first term when heavy sanctions really hurt Iran.

Point 7. The US and allies (basically Israel because why the **** should those who didn't bomb Iran pay for this?) will pay $300 billion to reconstruct Iran.

Point 8. This is not the main deal. That should come in 60 days.

Point 11. Release $24 billion in frozen funds.

Point 14. The main agreement process will not happen until the funds are unfrozen.
