The DOJ Inspector General’s report disclosed a multitude of FISA violations by the FBI. As noted by John Solomon, there were 51 Woods violations and nine false statements made to the FISA Court.
To understand just how shoddy the FBI’s work was in securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant targeting the Trump campaign, you only need to read an obscure attachment to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report. Appendix 1 identifies the total violations by the FBI of the so-called Woods Procedures, the process by which the bureau verifies information and assures the FISA court its evidence is true. The Appendix identifies a total of 51 Woods procedure violations from the FISA application the FBI submitted to the court authorizing surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page starting in October 2016.
A whopping nine of those violations fell into the category called: “Supporting document shows that the factual assertion is inaccurate.”
For those who don’t speak IG parlance, it means the FBI made nine false assertions to the FISA court. In short, what the bureau said was contradicted by the evidence in its official file.
Horowitz also identified 17 “significant errors or omissions” in the FISA application. Among them:
(snip)
Doesn’t make any sense. It’s either bias or complete incompetence. Wray was supposed to have fixed these problems already and he’s done nothing. People need to be charged and tried or the entire system of Justice- which is already teetering thanks to James Comey– is over. We could never have faith in it again.
The FBI has been made into a political weapon and that is frightening. Frankly, it should be burned to the ground and the FISA Court scuttled entirely. If the IC can do this to a President-elect and an IC asset, they can deprive all of us of our rights.
This has to end.

Comment:
It appears that IG Horowitz has made a delineation of fact. He says no bias for opening the investigation...did not say that about the rest of the investigations. Will see what he says coming up. There is no reason other than bias for what went down.
Throw in the false exculpatory statements by Brennan - that the dossier was not a key part of the ICA - and you have all the proof of bias that is needed. However, Brennan was outside the DOJ IG reach - but that information is in the public domain and should have been incorporated.
The public already knows from investigations that John Brennan did perjure himself in his testimony to Congress. The question is, will he be prosecuted for such acts?
I think the seriousness of this whole scenario is lost on the average American because they don’t know a FISA Court from a tennis court. When it is called what it is, Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court, they may realize that 'Cross Fire Hurricane' was a domestic spy operation on our own president.
This counterintelligence operation had to be authorized solely by Obama.

yea, earlier today i was "chastised" cause i said the FBI lied.

well, they did. a lot. to say or imply it's a mistake anyone could make, well, i simply don't see that same latitude going on for others NOT of their own mindset. to me if it's wrong for 1 side to do it, it's wrong. period.

It's either bias or incompetent neither one is a good look for the FBI.
Well since the MSM / And Dem Lawmakers have portrayed James Comey as the Pillar of Competence and Professionalism and Duty to country. It is obvious to everyone but them that all the Omissions, mistakes and outright lies in the FISA applications and investigation had to be predicated on Bias there is no other bridge on the road to that conclusion.
