Basically because it will be funded by white taxpayers and used by illegal aliens, other Hispanics and blacks.

But I suspect that a large part of the fear is about what health care would be like if the progressive wing of the Democratic Party got its way. These middle class Whites envision themselves standing in line with Blacks, Latinos, legal and illegal immigrants, and everyone else. And they realize that in general the taxes of people like themselves are being used to support services for people quite a bit unlike themselves — people who pay proportionately far less of the tax burden and are part of the coalition of minorities that is the backbone of the Democratic Party, while 90% of the Republican vote comes from Whites.

From an evolutionary perspective, this is a classic case of a public goods issue in a multicultural society. As noted by Frank Salter , because of closer ties of kinship and culture, ethnically homogeneous societies are more likely to be open to redistributive policies such as social welfare and nationalized health care. European nationalized health care systems were initiated decades ago when those countries were ethnically homogeneous. In the US, the Medicare system was enacted in 1965 — well before the multicultural onslaught.

Some enraged Whites may also have read about the aspects of the bill that make it “affirmative action on steroids,” including what amounts to a quota system for "underrepresented minorities" in medical schools. It's one thing to have affirmative action professors teaching obscure subjects to college students. But do people really want affirmative action doctors performing heart surgery?

I bet this guy's self-promotion skills outstrip his neurosurgery skills. A black neurosurgeon is kind of like a Jewish quarterback... there might be a few, but you wouldn't want to invest in the phenomenon.

Over the years I've worked for a lot of doctors, building their houses, and they like to have a person of skill around they can consult with on issues of domicile. Yesterday one I was helping out said that many many doctors of age 55 and over will go ahead and retire if Obamacare becomes law. Another comment was that the new up-starts don't have the same dedication to their "art" as do the more senior ones. The doctor/surgeon I was talking to goes to Bangledesh each year and donates a full month to helping the poor; his travel time to and from there makes it a 6-week period he's gone from the local hospital(s) emergency rooms.

There will be a two tiered medical system. The very rich will still get their treatment on demand. Those who are to be stuck in the system which is to be created will take theirs when they can get it. Right now in Canada a person waits a year to see a specialist, and then begins a wait of another year for surgery. I could, within a week from this date, begin the process and schedule knee replacement surgery so as to have it done in January when my work will be slow, so that I don't have to lose wages.

Right now, all patients in the system, particulary as patients in the hospital ward benefit from the fact that nurses, and staff of hospitals have gotten used to having people as patients they don't know much about except that they can afford it. Therefore everyone is treated as if they were the "wealthy" out of trained habit. Once the two tiered system is reality the wealthy will be gone, and for the patients, the system will become more "rude", even cruel. Get ready.

Enraged? I don't know anyone who is engraged. I know I'm not. Concerned is a better, more appropriate word, or maybe even some "fear" is felt. People who see rage, should take a clue from Eric Hoffer the social philosopher: Fear and anger are interchangeable. The fearful, give the appearance of being angry. In the military, of by-gone days, our trainers knew that when we were advancing into combat about to close with an enemy (the way it had been done back then), would feel great fear; we were told to turn that fear into rage against the enemy. If you watch a set piece battle of hostile barbarians rushing into combat with a legion of Romans, everyone gives blood-curdling yells, fear is transmuted into anger or rage. It's human nature.

Not at all. We have all kinds of black people here. I know that is not usual for the rest of the states except for the deep south. We've got all sorts of people here.

This guy is very down to earth and not a snob at all, He sat my friend down several times to talk to him about it before it happened. The guy is really good, my friend was looking at effectively having his face removed, his sinuses reattached and then his face sewn back on. Carson did the whole thing through his nostrils.

Why So Angry About Healthcare?

1- The Federal Government Has NO Constitutional Authority to be in the healthcare business;

2- Health care has been regulated by states since 1840;

3- In spite of that, Health Care was relatively affordable until 1965 when Medicare and Medicaid went into effect;

4- The ONLY thing that the federal government should do now is abolish medicare and medicaid then immediately get the fuck out of the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

There may not be a lot of black neurosurgeons...but you wouldn't want him to drill a burr hole in your skull.

The hot air might escape leaving you with an empty cranium.
