Why not Arrest Sanctuary Jurisdictions When an interstate felony results?

At least tie up the leaders of those sanctuary states/cities in hundreds of lawsuits for the rest of their lives. That way they get to lose everything they own and go through hell in the process.

That's a trick the left is particularly fond of.

States and municipalities have no legal obligation to enforce federal immigration law.
Who decided that?

You're right, but actively harboring illegal aliens is against the law.

.

There have been numerous interstate murders by illegals released by sanctuary jurisdictions why not try them in the state where the murder happened so they can serve state and federal time. Other felonies abound so, why not break the back of the Ds?
Specifically, what would they be charged with? Or are you suggesting incarceration without charges al la gitmo. Think very hard before you say you want to go down that road. If it can be done to others today for some specious nonsense, it can be done to you tomorrow for some other specious nonsense.

Correct.

In fact, state and local governments cannot be compelled to enforce Federal laws, including Federal immigration laws.

Consequently, there is no such thing as a ‘sanctuary jurisdiction’ – it’s perfectly appropriate and warranted for local authorities to elect to not use their limited resources to detain those undocumented.

Moreover, local jurisdictions take no issue with detaining and surrendering to Federal authorities a particular suspect when requested to do so, where those subject to arrest by Federal authorities are in no manner afforded ‘sanctuary’ by local jurisdictions.

Oh we're beyond all that now. We're in the for profit internment/detainment center business now with stocks traded on Wall Street. We've got the popo all militarized up with urban warfare gear and Israeli military training on the control and Palistinianization of populations. What could go wrong in some "emergency", under some "threat" or in the event of some "emergency?" Please build walls around me. Please lock everyone who scares me up.

Fweedumb.

Why wait, just being a sanctuary is illegal.

8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

(iii)
knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;

.
Ever notice how "the law" never really ever resolves anything in the US?

The effectiveness of any law depends on the political will to enforce them. Doesn't matter where in the world a law is passed.

Agree...under 8 U.S.C 1324 all of the treasonous pieces of shits should pay.

Gun makers should pay for every illegal gun America. If you make guns, it should be YOUR obligation to ensure it is never used for death to another human being.
Ahh yes this old canard. What about cars? How about Pools? Moron.

I live in the US, and yeah, our political/economic/legal system does not have the will to enforce our laws universally.

I can think of several laws that would apply, reckless endangerment, conspiracy to harbor illegal aliens and maleficence in office. I'm sure a bright prosecutor could come up with more.

That's not our version of capitalism, it has no responsibilities to society.

If it requires a "bright" prosecutor then it requires trickery and alternative approaches. See what I mean about "the law" in america? It is only a point from which to launch duplicity. It resolves nothing in american society. "The law" in this euro conqueror perceptual reality is an instrument of colonial extraction of the rights and property of others, or as we see in this case, whether a human being is even "legal" to exist.

Funny I've seen you use terms like "your country" which essentially removes you from that population.

Not true, defective products carry large risks, both financially and criminally. Why do you think we have billionaire plaintiffs attorneys?

You might want a refresher course on the use of first person possessive and second person possessive pronouns.

That's attempting to remove personal responsibility from the gun owner. Now who is "personally responsible" when an illegal commits statutory rape against a 14 year old girl? You do know that the age of consent is 14 years of age in most Mexican states, right? Should the offender be held responsible, even though he was only doing something that was allowed in his country?

Back to guns, if someone breaks the law by carrying out a "straw purchase" of a firearm for an ineligible person, and that ineligible person commits a crime with that gun, both the shooter and the purchaser can be charged. In other words, the purchaser enabled the shooter to carry out the shooting. He or she made it possible for them to shoot someone, and broke an existing law in the process.

In the same respect, sanctuary cities, states, and those who enact or reinforce those sanctuary policies, should be held criminally and civilly liable when those people they protect commit murders, rapes, assaults, or other crimes. They are in effect enabling those criminal illegals to commit their crimes, and there is no plausible deniability as with firearms manufacturers.
