Those that have less would say that I am. Those that have more would laugh at how little I have. It's relative.

So do you mean the 'rich' you are or the 'rich' who laugh at so little?

As comfortable as you are saying so, how did you become rich?

I not so sure I follow what you are asking but I hardly think anyone would think that I am rich by any stretch of the imagination.

Seems you have absolutely no problem with lobbyists pandering to democrats or vice versa..... Funny how Obama is extremely friendly with businesses who use union labor and actually give them Obamacare waivers and additional incentives - and not one fucking word comes out of the DNC's mouth about corporatism - yet these same motherfuckers turn right around and claim republicans are in the pockets of big business...

I have never, ever claimed that democrats have some kind of monopoly on virtue, they are every bit as self interested and corrupt as any other group of politicians, however, there is a case to be made that the lion's share of lobbyist activity is directed towards protecting the interests of the rich so let's take an honest look at what party seems to protect their interests more even when it runs directly counter to the interests of the people at large.

Go ahead and admit that you don't believe corporations or any business has the right to be successful - admit that wealth should be shared equally via government dictation or intervention..

The truth is you progressives hate the rich because they have more than you do. You hate conservatives, republicans and libertarians because they oppose your socialist ideas. They work hard for what they have and you think you have a right to the fruits of their labor because they have more than you do....

No one ask for all you have just because have it. It's the law of nature that you share your wealth. It's call paying it forward/ giving back or the price you have to pay for getting rich and the up keep of this great country. We are our brother's keeper unless you are a selfish turd. You did not get rich all by your self. You may have planted the seed but many others made it grow. No man is an island.
You don't even want to think about keeping all your earnings because the have nots will take what you have whether you like it or not. So be safe and share a little of it. A hungry man will definitely eat.

First, where is that "law of nature" that requires people to share their wealth written? I certainly haven't seen it anywhere except in Marxist writings....and last I checked, our country was framed by the Constitution - NOT Marx.

Second, I know many, many wealthy people who happen to be very generous with their wealth and they share it OF THEIR OWN VOLITION TO CHARITIES THAT THEY CHOOSE TO SUPPORT. They don't need the government to shake them down in the interest of 'fairness'.

90% huh? If the Bush era tax cuts are not extended for the highest income bracket the increase in their tax rate would be 3% from 36% to 39%. Not an increase of 54%.......
