Why I don't respect Irans military

cause they dont have cool-looking uniforms like the Germans in WW2

The Japs were basically amped-up N. Vietrnames and N. Koreans.

They fough sneaky and didnt have signature uniforms like the Germans did.

Both the US and the Soviets had cool looking uniforms - but the Germans were the best . The Brits sucked - no insignias and had World War 1 era pie-plattter helmets.

The US military basically copied the Germans helmets when they ditched the pot-helmuts in the mid 1980s - which they used from 1941 to the mid 80s.

Before they used the Brit-style pie-platter which protects nothing.............

I agree that the old British helmets were pretty awful.

But now they can thank the US Military for 5.56mm rounds that aren't effective. Oh how useful to have a standard Nato caliber; but when you need 7.62mm as a killing round against enemy that aren't terribly worried about medivac....
