Why does the DNC still support Biden?

Joe Biden is failing, both personally and politically, yet the DNC strives to keep him alive as a presidential candidate. Why is this?

The answer may be that, as long as he remains a "political opponent" of President Trump, there is a basis for arguing that any investigation of the corruption that was going on in the Ukraine is politically motivated and should be discredited.

This phony argument will lose credibility if Biden drops out of the race and is no longer a presidential candidate, so it is imperative that he remain in the race at least until the Democrat convention. After that, any investigation will be labeled as a dirty election trick by the Republicans.

And poor old Joe will be to old and feeble to prosecute...

Backing Sanders would mean that they would have to admit that they are no longer the Democratic party, but a Socialist party instead.
Backing Buttigieg, a former mayor who wasn't popular in his own city doesn't look too well either.

Because of South Carolina, it is just that simple! If Biden limps out of SC, expect a reshuffling of Democratic donors!

3. Mayor Pete couldn't get 35% of the black vote

REALITY-------------> If the nomination has to be voted on at the convention; IF the Left thinks it can win, expect Biden or Doomberg.
