Why are we sending our children to public schools again?

And that is the way progressives think of poor people and single parents.

They think the hell hole schools are good enough. They want to punish the children of poor people. They want their parents to be miserable. They want them to die, and be raped, and be exploited.

Because they think they have no value and they believe they have no right to expect, or build, anything better.

They are today's nazis. It's not hyperbole. They are possibly more brutal. I don't believe the first nazis actually thought they were monsters....today's nazis are perfectly cognizant of it. Yesterday's nazis are their fucking ideological heroes.

I am certainly not Progressive ... I may be pragmatic though ...

I can tell you that figuring out what you (or anyone for that matter) needs to do depends on the individual.
You can sit there, wring your hands, worry about what you aren't willing to change and wait for someone else to save you.
It may be a long wait though ... And I wouldn't expect getting any worthwhile results.

If you expect something better, want to build something better or want to add value ...
You are either going to have to do something ... Or settle for what someone else is willing to give you.

The more you do for yourself ... The closer it will come to meeting your expectations.

.

So top education should only be for a small percentage of the population?

How does that follow? Top education is already only for a small percentage of the population.

And what kids get in today's public schools is not *top education* by any stretch of the imagination. That's sort of the point. It does more damage than good.

Top education costs money...without government intervention

Yeah trust me lots of money is being spent...but not on the kids.

Look at that false narrative. It's a thing of beauty that operates completely independently of reality and fact.

I absolutely want to build something better. And I want to eliminate the harmful.

They are in physical danger not only from mass shooters...and are also at risk of being bullied not only by fellow students, but also by hardened criminals and school employees.

Schools have become like the church of old...it attracts every predatory sexual freak known to man. Not only are stupid people drawn to teaching..but people who are truly depraved are drawn to it. Because once they are in, they have access to all that child flesh and it is almost impossible to unseat them...thanks to the disgusting piles of human excrement that act as administrators.

I heard of on account that said a COACH bullied the Greek kid. A football coach. So now the press and all their fanatical acolytes are pretending the killer was the victim of bullying. If that's true...it happened at school, while he was in the care of a school, and the school is the problem. Why do we send our kids again?

Well ... It very well may be unreachable for you ... Otherwise ... Get to it ...
Complaining about it certainly won't change much.

You want to bet?

I am getting to it. Since I first started calling out the schools 2 years ago enrollment and funding have dropped dramatically and people are beginning to reject the notion that we *need* public..or compulsory...schooling.

You progressive public education acolytes are the ones who don't see capable of figuring things out...you are the reason our schools are a mess. Just as the fact that you refuse to address the border problem and the homosexual problem are the reasons child sexual trafficking is growing by leaps and bounds.

he looks like tucker carlson

coincidence?

Carlson is just an ass.
He was great on MSNBC before they switched to the Fox News model years ago. Now he’s just another plug-in robot for the right’s propaganda.
You don’t know what you’re talking about.
MSNBC copied the Fox model around 2002. Carlson was eventually one of their conservative hosts with Madcow as a regular sparring partner.
The FNC copy failed so around 2006 they made the decision to go hard left. Olberman dwelled on W Bush, Iraq and Bill O’Reilly. Spitball host, Matthews, obsessed with Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson.
They dumped Carlson in 2008 and gave his show to Madcow.
They’ve been nothing but a democrat propaganda machine ever since.
Anyone who relies on them for news is a duped biased hack with no perspective.

kinda like a fox news watcher, right?
No. Because MSM is not right wing.

Depends where you live. I have 4 kids all went to our rural public school. All are making big salaries and were very well prepped for college. But it's a small rural setting no city influence.

I attended a rural public school system. I understand

I never said that school teaches kids to be social. What I meant is they go there and share their days with children of the same age and unless there’s something wrong with them, most kids make friends at school. It’s important for kids to be around other kids, which isn’t something you can teach them. Some of their learning comes by way of experience.

We send children to school so they can learn and be social. It’s not really that difficult to understand. As a parent, I understand the fear that your child could be the victim of a school shooter, but unless you never allow your kids to leave the house, they’re going to be at risk of succumbing to countless kinds of demises just by walking out the front door.

I’m hoping that by the time my kid is old enough to attend middle school this country will have some kind of handle on the school shooting problem... but as long as Washington insists on playing partisan politics, we’ll never find a solution.
I teach my children to be social.

That's one of the other problems of today's society. They think it's the job of the schools to teach their children everything they need to know about everything.

Wrong. It's your job to teach your children to be *social*. *Social* as the schools teach it is *socialism*. And that is not education. That is indoctrination.

Schools exist to educate children to read, to write, to use mathematics adequately to get through life...and to teach them history. That's it.

And I'm talking about real history...real events as they really happened. Not an adjusted form of *history* that supports the *social*-driven curriculum.

Okay... not sure what your point is but do you have statistics to back that up?

A child is more likely to be sexually abused in a school than shot

That's funny, you said you sent kids to school to learn and be social.

And when did schools become the only acceptable place for kids to be social?
I don't like the schools' version of *society*. It's racist, and hysterical, and generally retarded.

Schools are for education. First, foremost, only.

The whole idea of *socializing* children came in with the communists. It's just a euphenism for brainwashing them to an ideology that their parents don't teach them at home.

Their parents don't teach it at home because they think it's a vile ideology.

Which is why parents are pulling their kids from schools.

The school teachers and admin don't understand..but that's because they're idiots themselves...and thus doubly unworthy to be teaching ANYONE. Not that they view their job as teaching. Almost every teacher today, when asked, will tell you they see their primary purpose as a teacher is to make their students *question everything*.

What they mean is to teach their children to question their parents' ideology, their parents' society, their parents' faith, their parents' moral code...and to substitute the ideology the SCHOOL dictates for the ideology their culture, family, and community support.

Sure keep your kids home. Teach them how to paint a room or mow a lawn.
Yeah, they can get a job that way, loser.
When did I say they couldn't? Do you live near Northern VA? I'll pay $15 to mow my lawn. I used to pay $30, but now there are all these Americans around who apparently will work for next to nothing. So offer's open anytime.

I work in NOVA and you are full of it

The reason that we are sending our children to public schools is that they avoid being as willfully ignorant as you are.
