Why are sports fans so obsessed with Colon Kaepernick?

He was a terrible quarterback that happened to play for a very talented 49ers team. When the 49ers went down the tube with varies players problems and free agent fleeing, Kaepernick was exposed as a below average player. Kaepernick folded like a cheap suit when he no longer had decent players around him.

Gave up his career?? That is really funny...Kaepernick was a fraud, he just happen to be surrounded by very good team members when the 49ers were winning. When the 49ers declined and lost players, Kaepernick was exposed as the fraud he was/is.
