Air SupportJust out of curiosity, for all you people who are saying to air drop aid to Venezuela......................how are you going to ensure that the aid goes to the people, and doesn't get taken by Maduro and his supporters? I mean, just dropping a bunch of crates into an area is easy, but to ensure the stuff in those crates gets to the people who need it is a bit harder.

Sending in an armed warplane wouldn't do anything other than start another war.
And..................how in the hell are you going to ensure it gets to the right people? Once it hits the ground, that A-10 isn't going to be able to do much, especially in the jungle, where they can hide under the tree canopy.
You contact the opposition and make an arrangement for a predefined drop location. A civil war is exactly what Venezuela needs.
What's to stop Maduro's people from intercepting the message as to where the drop is going to be and taking all the food and weapons for themselves? Like I said, an air drop for supplies is a bad idea.
Never mind the fact that you would also have to get permission to fly in Venezuelan airspace, and Maduro would never go for that, especially if it is in support of the people who are revolting against him.
Simple: The CIA sends an agent in to deliver the message personally. Do you actually believe they haven't done this kind of thing before?
Air dropping weapons is a great idea.
What makes you believe the CIA would ask for permission? Do you believe Venezuela has the resources to shoot down the American military? Obama delivered arms to ISIS in Syria, so what makes you believe Trump couldn't do the same in Venezuela?

I see nothing wrong with dropping crates of assault rifles and ammo right in to the middle of some of these protests.
