The Justice Department on Wednesday night released a former FBI informant from a confidentiality agreement, allowing him to testify before Congress about what he witnessed undercover about the Russian nuclear industry’s efforts to win favorable decisions during the Obama administration.

Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores confirmed to The Hill a deal had been reached clearing the informant to talk to Congress for the first tie, nearly eight years after he first went undercover for the FBI.

“As of tonight, the Department of Justice has authorized the informant to disclose to the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, as well as one member of each of their staffs, any information or documents he has concerning alleged corruption or bribery involving transactions in the uranium market, including but not limited to anything related to Vadim Mikerin, Rosatom, Tenex, Uranium One, or the Clinton Foundation,” she said.

Multiple congressional committees have been seeking to interview the informant, whose name has not been released publicly, because he stayed undercover for nearly five years providing agents information on Russia’s aggressive efforts to grow its atomic energy business in America.

I posted it earlier inside a different thread. Seems like it could lead to the truth......if it happens in less than 5 years and they post what they find...honestly.

This is the problem for the clinton/obama crime machine.....the clinton's always escaped the cops because they controlled the cops....he was the Attorney General in Arkansas, and then the Governor, and then he was President, the head of all of the law enforcement and investigation branches of the government....so they thought they would be in control after the election, which is why they took Russian money, and gave up so much to the Russians....

Then Trump won...and now maybe, just maybe, there are people who are no longer afraid of the clintons or the obamas...since they don't have direct control over law enforcement anymore...

Benghazi, Benghanzi...........Benghazi..............................................Benghazi. LOL Same ol' shit, different day. And this will go just as far.

Notice how these Trump Cult members rely on the [formerly] "fake news" sources for their new revelations?........ LOL

Look for an untimely death...

It's amazing how many can befall Arkancide! :)

There was a time when you would find yourself in jail if you ignored a government subpoena. I'm sorry to say that some (most?) GOP congressional members don't seem to have the fire in their gut to conduct this investigation when they keep whining that everybody seems to ignore their subpoenas.

The Hill has always been a reliable source.

What's big about this is that the informant was made to sign a confidentiality agreement. His lawyer is one of the best and one of my faves. Victoria Toensing. She rocks.

"The FBI has informed me that they are releasing my client from his NDA so that he can testify to Congress about his work uncovering the Russian nuclear bribery case and the efforts he witnessed by Moscow to gain influence with the Clintons in hopes of winning favorable uranium decisions from the Obama administration,” Toensing said.

“He is now able and willing to talk with the confessional committees seeking his testimony though I will be working with all parties to ensure his identity remains confidential to ensure his safety,” she added."

Ooooooooooooh I can't wait!

I remember there were some of you guys on here who said that this entire Russian story against Trump was going to backfire on the Democrats, I have remained skeptic, but hopeful that the truth on all sides is told, so maybe now there will be some consequences. Most likely minor if any at all. Maybe as we say at the poker table, "she has to sweat the river card". That will probably be the extent of her punishment regardless.

If Clinton is innocent, if this informant is not providing anything of value that involved bribery, corruption, abuse of power, treason or the like, so be it. I do believe that the Foundation was an affront to transparent democracy anywhere, and I would bet my life she had some pay to play arrangements.

One thing is for sure, why someone who lost and has some serious baggage would continue to attack, get involved in divisive politics and openly shout that they are "part of the Resistance" is beyond me. She truly believed that she is forever immortalized in America, as if she were the Queen. She continued these attacks even though her competitor for president told you that things would be different if he were president "because you would be in jail". She is clearly delusional and of some belief that due to her husbands history and her high level access in the government and her former party, that she is untouchable.

Now, if she has to pay a price it would send an important message. I will remain skeptical until then. There is always a wildcard in all of this though. Just like in the movies, the FBI have a reputation for being that agency on the block who will do what is right, even if politically and even personally harmful. So, I would not be surprised if someone blew a whistle and/or came out and pushed hard for truth and consequences.

Again, it's a wildcard, but with the media attention and the number of enemies Hillary has made, it is always a possibility. I will not celebrate if it happens, but as someone who knows the other side of "Rule of Law" or lackthereof in an unaccountable socialist state and knows all too well about abuse of state authority, if she is guilty of a crime beyond the private server, she should be held to account. Regardless, any and all who have something to offer this investigation must be heard.
