A motorist accused of killing a Houston police officer while driving drunk is in the country illegally, MyFoxHouston.com reports.

Police say Johoan Rodriguez was drunk when he drove his car into a road block Sunday morning, striking and killing Officer Kevin Will with the Houston Police Department.

Rodriguez has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter of a peace officer, felony evading, and possession of a controlled substance. Police say he had .3 grams of cocaine in his pocket along with an alcohol level of .238, according to the station.

They are one reason Democrats try to fight photo ID for voting.

It's much harder to steal an ID and vote if you have to match a photo to vote.

Our politicians ignoring the border problem is going to have serious reprocussions in the next few years. The AP recently had an article (Which I think is posted in another thread) on how Mexico could collapse. If we think the problem with illegals is bad now, it's about to get much worse with potential refuges coming.

And you honestly think these drug cartels are going to stop if they gain control on Mexico? You think they wouldn't fight for US territory too? Heck, they already control parts of Southern Arizona.

It's time we bring our troops home. We are going to need to defend our southern border soon if we don't significantly change our policies.
