A man was shot outside a tutoring school for kids in Australia.....a building full of kids.....a man with a gun.....which Australian gun control law kept this man from walking into that building and shooting all of those children?

The answer: None of them....they confiscated guns, they banned guns.....and had this guy wanted to murder dozens of children, instead of the one man he shot, the Australian gun ban and gun confiscation would not have stopped him...

Man shot near children’s tutoring centre

A man has been taken to hospital following a shooting in Melbourne’s north-west.

The man, aged in his 30s, was found with gun shot wounds to his upper body in Stention Road, Kealba around 3.15pm.

Police discovered the seriously injured man outside a tutoring centre, where dozens of children were attending weekend classes.

The number of guns in Australia is back up to pre-ban numbers and the rise in gun crime there reflects that.

Nope...wrong again asswipe......law abiding gun owners are not the ones shooting people in Australia.....they are not getting military weapons the way the criminals are......

The gun ban, the gun confiscation and their extreme gun control laws are still in effect....they are also an island....

Try again....

You didn't answer the question.......Which Australian gun law, what part of the gun ban and confiscation, kept this man from walking into that school and murdering those children?

Can you answer that, dumb ass?

^ says wrong again, explains with completely unrelated piece of information

Their gun laws are still in effect, their gun ban is still in effect their gun confiscation is still in effect....they are an island...and their criminals still get guns easily...

You didn't answer the question......

Which Australian gun control law, their gun confiscation and gun ban, stopped this man from walking into that school with his illegal gun and murdering those children?

Gun numbers are back to pre-ban levels, and gun crime is up as a result

Australia's gun numbers climb: men who own several buy more than ever before

And yet...again.....those are illegal guns.....

Their gun laws did not change.

They confiscated guns.

They banned guns.

it is an island.

Their gun control laws did not work......

No, they are, in fact, legal

Which Australian gun control law, their gun confiscation and gun ban, stopped this man from walking into that school with his illegal gun and murdering those children?
None but it's good that it stopped people that, luckily, we'll never hear about

And it didn't stop any of the public shooters that have happened after they banned and confiscated guns.

And again, normal, law abiding Australians are obeying the gun control laws...it is the criminals in Australia who are not obeying the laws.....

It stopped many that you'll never hear about, and keeps guns away from criminals

Well, not so much anymore now that there are more guns than before the ban. Sadly, expect the gun crime rate to keep climbing as long as guns continue entering circulation there.

They didn't stop any......but thanks for playing...

And they are not legal guns, and they are being used by criminals, since their gun control can't stop their criminals from getting the guns...while law abiding Australians are obeying those same laws......

Okay TheOldSchool Now let's compare
to cities that claim to have completely wiped out crime
by organizing community wide prayer. I asked a friend who told me this
for a reference, so I can research it. She said the people of the town had
similar issues that we see in poor neighborhoods blamed on poverty and lack of support as the root cause. the people started with prayer groups that grew to filling up a whole
area like a stadium where everyone could pray in unity. And the effect was to
repel and resolve the social ills and disconnects that were allowing crime and abuse
to thrive. So by overcoming this and unifying, the crime was reduced until the town
reported being crime free.

Darrell Scott also made a similar appeal to return the support of unifying prayer
back to schools to keep communities safe and ward off negative evil influences.

TheOldSchool this method is consistent with natural science and medicine.
When we have stronger immune systems, we can fight off invading threats
that want to disrupt the health and prevent natural healing and defense.

So prayer helps reinforce our natural defense and health,
not only as individuals in body mind and spirit,
but the health of our relationships and our communities
that spring from individual health on a collective level when everyone is unified.

Division weakens this natural system of defense.
So all this negative backbiting is part of the attack on the natural health
of people and our relations and society that are made weaker and unhealthy.
We cannot withstand or ward/weed out ills when we are in conflict and stress,
as well as we can when we AGREE to enforce the same standards
and keep check on any abuses or violations that breach those standards.

With Constitutional laws, these are supposed to be the universal standard
to ensure security equal protections for all, and not violating rights or due process
of any person.

So criminals who abuse guns are violating this very law that defends the right of people to security in our persons houses and effects, and doesn't allow anyone to be deprived of liberty or freedom unless they are duly convicted of a crime by due process where the law prescribes fixed punishments that we as a society agree are proportional to a crime.

The problems with abuse of guns is when people are not taught trained or in agreement to enforce the same Constitutional laws protecting rights of everyone. Instead they abuse guns to violate laws.

So if we would agree with the principles of upholding and respecting ALL the principles in the Bill of Rights equally, no guns would ever be abused because that would violate other provisions within the same Bill of rights.

What will deter crime and help us detect sick people in advance is AGREEING in unity on standards of law so we enforce these together. Then anyone who is unable or unwillig to comply we can screen out faster at first sign of legal mental or criminal incompetence.

by the time we reach such a consensus, we can invest in better medical and psychological screening to diagnose abusive or addictive disorders that lead to crime.

that is the culprit, not the guns which can be used to defend laws and deter crime.
The mental instability or disorders that prevent legal compliance are what we
need to focus on. And we can better isolate that factor by the rest of us who are law abiding to AGREE on set standards and how to teach and enforce these,
so we are unified on the same page and set a consistent standard on law enforcement by example.

Criminals...using illegal guns......law abiding Australians are obeying the law, their criminals are ignoring it.....these are banned guns....

Gun city: Young, dumb and armed

The notion that a military-grade weapon could be in the hands of local criminals is shocking, but police have already seized at least five machine guns and assault rifles in the past 18 months. The AK-47 was not among them.

Only a fortnight ago, law enforcement authorities announced they were hunting another seven assault rifles recently smuggled into the country. Weapons from the shipment have been used in armed robberies and drive-by shootings.

These are just a handful of the thousands of illicit guns fuelling a wave of violent crime in the world’s most liveable city.

----

Despite Australia’s strict gun control regime, criminals are now better armed than at any time since then-Prime Minister John Howard introduced a nationwide firearm buyback scheme in response to the 1996 Port Arthur massacre.

Shootings have become almost a weekly occurrence, with more than 125 people, mostly young men, wounded in the past five year

-----------

While the body count was higher during Melbourne’s ‘Underbelly War’ (1999-2005), more people have been seriously maimed in the recent spate of shootings and reprisals.

Crimes associated with firearm possession have also more than doubled, driven by the easy availability of handguns, semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and, increasingly, machine guns, that are smuggled into the country or stolen from licensed owners.

Dumb ass...these are all banned and illegal guns in Australia......

Well in his defense that's not what you asked. You asked which gun kept him from murdering those kids. You asked it correctly in your OP but not the title of your thread.

Read the title of the thread, it even confused me.

Thanks for that catch, there was time left, so I went back and fixed it.......

I'll ask him again and give him another chance...

Which Australian gun law, what part of the gun ban and confiscation, kept this man from walking into that school and murdering those children?

the pure, dumb luck Australia has been living under won't hold.......
It has held for decades in all the countries that have managed to enforce their gun control laws, and as a result have so few guns in circulation

No...it hasn't....not in France......where they used completely illegal military rifles, Sweden, Germany, Canada,Belgium, Norway....and in Britain, they averaged one mass shooting every 10 years before the ban, they had one the first 10 years after the ban and almost had two school shootings the next 10 years...which were stopped not by their gun laws but by dumb luck...the one 19 year old posted his plan to shoot up his school on social media...with his illegal Glock pistol, and the other kid, an elementary school student called the police on himself at the school....while he had his shotgun ready to go.....

Australia, about a dozen public shootings.....

Dumb luck is not gun control working.....
