Interesting perspectiveSocieties on severe decline across North and South American Continents is what they found. The influx of other diverse DNA groups saved the established population from vanishing.
Death once the plagues started.
Death once the plagues started.
A whole lot of supposition there.Well at least when the Spaniards showed up, those Aztecs quit cutting out people's still-beating hearts from sacrificial victims and offering them to their gods. Maybe those Mexicans even adopted Christianity instead of paganistic murder.
Although you'd probably be happy to see them being the same uncivilized savages they were back then, right? Seeing how you love abortion so much, maybe you'd even join them in their celebration of death and human sacrifice.

My point is that the plagues came with the Spanish and Portuguese, wiping out entire civilizations - Amazon civilizations being an example. This would have occurred no matter if it were French, Spanish, Ottomans, or Chinese that first made contact. The American populations were not "innoculated by history" and all the plagues that swept through Europe and Asia form the time of the Sumerians to the Black Death hit the Americas all at the same time.
There was much worse mass plagues long before the Spanish arrived. All over C. America large city complexes, pryamids, all abandoned and under the canopy of rain forests. That's still the case today, with a few cleared for tourist attractions. There are massive complexes long abandoned long before the Spanish arrived.Death once the plagues started.
Not true. The wiping out of civilizations occured prior to the Spanish.A whole lot of supposition there.

Once they gained power they were enslaving and killing everyone. It's why Cortez had a easy sales pitch getting other tribes to join with Spain.Ask the Aztecs what happened to all those Olmecs, Toltecs, and the people of Teotihuacan who once inhabited modern-day Mexico. They exterminated most of them and made slaves out of the rest.
