Prior to the JFK assassination people trusted their government and had blind faith in them,by the 70's when facts emerged it was a conspiracy and they could not hide the truth for decades as they did back in Lincolns day,back then they thought the government could do no wrong but we have the 70's to thank for waking America up mainly because of watergate.watergate was the icing on the cake for americans to lose faith in their government and finally see how corrupt they REALLY were..
