What's Your "Favorite" Iraq War Lie?

"We were spreading democracy."

Everybody loves democracy until the guy they don't like gets elected.

"We were spreading democracy."

…whether you like it or not.

The whole ‘nation-building’ neo-con scam was among the most reprehensible, the arrogance and hubris of Bush and Cheney that the United States has the ‘authority’ to dictate to other nations what their government should be, and compel that government upon them by force.
Yeah...Just like those arrogant neocon assholes did in the Balkans, Somalia and Haiti.

Oh, wait....

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." --President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

In 2003 they had no WMDs, or a method of delivering them. Thanks for proving President Clinton right.

Red herring nothing.

Not only are the progressives/socialists every bit as enamored with nation building as are the neocons, your boi Bubba Clintoon made regime change in Iraq the official federal policy in 1998.

Nope, not a dime's worth of difference between you meddlesome, dictatorial assholes.

I agree with you sometimes, but you only post Republican talking points. You are nothing more than a partisan hack. You know you have voted for the Republican candidate every election now. You will call them RINOs after they lose, but we all know which way the wind blows. :eusa_whistle:

I don't think Iraq had chemical weapons. How would they have ever developed that sort of technology? The only chance is if some foreign government had given them information or weapons. Nevermind, I remember now.

Oh come on...you cannot be that deluded, seriously.

United States support for Iraq during the Iran–Iraq War, against post-revolutionary Iran, included several billion dollars worth of economic aid, the sale of dual-use technology, non-U.S. origin weaponry, military intelligence, Special Operations training, and direct involvement in warfare against Iran.

Blow it out your ass.....Anyone who knows me knows that few hacked on Chimpola more harshly than I did during his regime.

But it is amusing to watch intellectual ghetto dwelling lolberals like you cast stones from their glass tenements, as international meddling and nation building has been one of their favored foreign policies for at least the last century.

What's the one that pisses you off the most now that 10 years, 2 trillion dollars and countless lives have passed?

My top 3:

1. “The oil revenue of that country could bring between 50 and 100 billion dollars over the course of the next two or three years. We’re dealing with a country that could really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon,” - Paul Wolfowitz

2. "Now, I think things have gotten so bad inside Iraq, from the standpoint of the Iraqi people, my belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators." - Dick Cheney

3. "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended" - George Bush

"It's over." Barack Obama

lets take all the neo cons who agreed with wolfy money to replace the money they LIED to us about.

sound fair?

Chimpola was a meddlesome nation building asshole.

BTW, who was it that kept his father's policy towards Iraq in place for all eight years of his presidency?....Bubba Clintoon, that's who.

Who knew the liberoidals were Bushies? :lmao:

Please explain how Clowntoon did that.
How 'bout you explain which policy toward Iraq put in place in 1991, was reversed entirely by Bubba?....Just one.

That one should be easy peasy, eh?

Bush was an idealist and really believed that peace in the Middle East could be obtained. Obama still thinks the same. As for the war, Bush's biggest mistake was he couldn't say "no" when Cheney and those with financial interests in war when the WMD intelligence came back negative. The military was ready to go, so they bullied Bush into it. THAT was Bush's biggest mistake.
