That's what these central americans are doing. They don't want the expense of raising their kids so they dump them on the rich gringos!!

The sort of "migrant" who only sees the welfare check at the end of the road. Apparently, it's being advertised that the kids can get in "free" and they're hoping that will enable them to follow. This breed of "immigrant" is very different from many of our forbears. The Northern Europeans and Asians who have preceeded the current wave of parasites came here to assimilate, to build a better life, to become contributing citizens, proud Americans. Now, it's the freebies mandated by a corrupt and bankrupt government that is the prize at the end of the yellow brick road.
And hell, they can always breed more lice and disease infested culls if their current "gift" to the US fails.

Or send them to Nebraska:

Every state now has a "safe haven" law allowing parents who can't care for a newborn to drop him or her off at a "safe haven," such as a hospital, firehouse or police station.

But, reports Early Show national correspondent Hattie Kauffman, the last state to adopt such legislation, Nebraska, added a controversial touch.

Nebraska's new statute allows parents to drop off kids of ANY age up to 17.

The parents are told that these children will be able to find work here and send money back. Eventually these children will be able to petition to bring those parents here. Most of the children are older teens who are expected to find work.

Are those not American children? The safe haven law was designed to stop mothers from putting their children in trash cans or dumpsters. It has nothing to do with foreign nationals dumping their unwanted children on us.

Extremely desperate ones. That should tell you just how bad it is where they live.

Agreed. We still need to uphold our immigration laws, but I find it hard to fault the parents who were born in a shithole country.

If there was any possiblilty of using the energy of thousands of people to make one of these shithole countries safer for the children, these countries have now exported it.

Yes, for individuals, one, two, three kids, not thousands. Parent is not a word to be used to describe any human (or so called) that sends a child hundreds of miles away, as these kids were.

So you progs defend these parents for just abandoning their own kids? Get help please.

You skipped over THIS:

I didn't realize thousands of kids came from the same parents.

I was addressing the question in the OP.

Getting rid of unwanted children, whether they are sent to Texas from Central America, or to Nebraska from Texas, is certainly not an activity monopolized by Guatemalans.

Thus, the sort of "parent" that sends their kid to the USA is clearly one that probably has no choice.

Desperately poor parents.

I say - bring 'em on. Children are our future.
