That would not be correct, technology, science, medicine, and otherwise are religious institutions - as they involve the study of God or the cosmos.If humans are capable of doing things on our own....creating technology...creating medical "savior" procedures....Performing miracles using medicine and other techniques....etc
What is the purpose of God? In any religion?

Without the cosmos, humans could not exist, let alone do anything. And there of course is no rational reason a "secular" minded individual would care about higher things such as science, medicine, altruism, or anything more than any feral dog or beast would to begin with.
