And we have visas for them to come over. What I resent is the fact that for the AVERAGE college graduate that is anywhere from 40 to 100K in debt to get a degree has piss poor prospects of finding a job that can sustain them after they start paying back student loans while jobs are given to those that came over here without that kind of debt. It's no better than offshoring jobs. Remember those that worked for Walt Disney that had to train their cheaper replacements?

So FUCKING "A" I am totally on board with "America First".....got a fucking problem with that???

I saw on TV recently that some of the corporations hiring these college degree people are now paying off these employee's student loans as a benefit. Most corporations have programs to put their employees through college, as one of their benefits, as long as their degree is related to their job or would benefit them at the company. But these other workers, that paid for college schooling on their own, they are now offering to pay off their student loans.

We can only hope, that more employers in need of educated workers, would do the same!

Hopefully that is a trend that will catch on and continue but until that time? We need to slow down the amount of H-B1 visas that are given out.

but THOSE are the ones that President Trump wants to KEEP....? he wants the English speaking highly educated immigrants to come here....?

And I agree we need to hope that trend of paying off loans by Employers will become a trend!

It still will only be big corporations that could afford to do it...and many college degree people will not ever work for one of them....

We can't get enough Dentists up here in Maine, so I believe the State pays off student loans for the dentists right out of school, most from Boston's Dental schools, in exchange for them to come up here and work in our Dental clinics, or dental practices for a few years.... I think Alaska does that as well, for both Doctors and dentists.

But again, that's a special degree and the masses of college students will still have the Gorilla student loans on their own backs...

There are plenty of reasons to bash leftists. The first and foremost reason being that they hijacked the title of Liberal and think they actually ARE Liberals.

Beyond that, they are economically and morally backwards, and believe the government can be trusted to regulate itself, as well as every aspect of life.

That said, while the tool thing is a small detail, the government does spend more money per student than the most expensive Private School in the nation, with significantly worse results. We had Wood Shop when I was in high school but most of us girls and most boys, never took it....

My father taught me about tools and changing a tire, changing the oil in my car, and things like that....and decades later, is still teaching me, when I am stuck and have to call him for HELP, cuz the hubby has no idea! My mom taught me about laundry and cooking and sewing and even how to clean house...there's tricks to that as well! but my mom never worked, her job was to raise us and manage the household.

We had shop class when I was growing up and there were more families that had a mother and a father.... but the fabric of that was been torn apart and a lot of that has to do with the women's liberation movement that was funded by the Rockefeller Foundation.Millenials are not being taught to be self-sufficient on any level....recent poll claims that almost 50 percent of them are onboard with socialism......speaks volumes to me.

We had Wood Shop when I was in high school but most of us girls and most boys, never took it....

My father taught me about tools and changing a tire, changing the oil in my car, and things like that....and decades later, is still teaching me, when I am stuck and have to call him for HELP, cuz the hubby has no idea! My mom taught me about laundry and cooking and sewing and even how to clean house...there's tricks to that as well! but my mom never worked, her job was to raise us and manage the household.

I was hoping you were going to say that, don't you see that's what's wrong with liberalism , you guys promote single mothers , with no father's for young boys....see your dad and mom love each other and you but for some reason the liberal family is dissolving ...

Oh, so all of this is allegedly? Funny there's never any evidence for all of the worst things the left claims he does and says. Besides, the alleged quote was that the country was one, not the people. The fact that you had to make that part up and can't defend Africa itself proves you know he's right.

Honestly, how can we be fine with taking in ANY people from other countries when we have so many here that are struggling. Our educational system is so badly fucked up due to the intentional dumbing down of the past three generations but even the ones that did make it are having to compete with cheaper labor via the via program while burdened with heavy student loan debt.

Did you know that Home Depot and Lowes are having to make tutorial videos just to show millenials on how to use basic hand tools? That is just how badly the liberal public school system has fucked over this country. It is to weep........

Then good for your dad and good for your mom......they did right by you. If I were you, I would learn as much from your dad as you can while he is still around because it sounds like if you have to depend on your husband when the SHTF, you are going to have to depend on you.

You know, the hubby's dad DIED when he was fairly young and never got to learn all that he needed to know...and his dad was a handyman genius, just like my dad...and when he died young, Matt was wishing he had spent more time learning from him.... my Dad helps Matt too, not just me, and we both have learned a lot from him....he can fix anything, and has a box of tricks and solid short cuts, second to none!

We don't promote single mothers, we want every kid to have a mother and father and live happily ever after!

We just don't treat single mothers with disdain, they have an extremely hard job to do, that truly in most cases, takes two to handle.

And honestly, for you to act as if this divorce rate or single motherhood is just liberals... is wrong.... the divorce rate is HIGHER in conservative regions and lower in liberal regions....now I suppose you could say, that's because liberals do not get married at all... but truly, I believe I read it is because in the liberal northeast states as an example, most of the Christians are Catholic, and they pretty much do not allow divorce....

Just look at the president and trophy wife, and darn near half of congress critters...married and divorced and married and divorced....can't be great for their kids' stability etc...

Black men have failed the mother's of their children, and not married them, and this is a real problem and a never ending problem for their children. How to change that, if it is even possible, is a whole nuther discussion and thread...!
