What lie does the other side spread about your party that's the most surprising and bizarre?

I am developing a feeling that this thread could become very lively.

Would be a nice break from all the racists going into a feeding frenzy lately...
Well now, since you introduced the word "racists" I suppose it is only fair to point out that most of the claims liberals make about conservatives being racist are false.
It's surprising and bizarre that so many liberals believe it.

Let's add to that these:

Republicans want dirty air and water.
Republicans want kids with autism to fend for themselves.
Republicans want to push granny off a cliff.
Republicans want to burn black churches.
Republicans want to take away everyone's healthcare.
Republicans want no one to have a good job.

All lies, of course.

Republicans want to take away everyone's healthcare.
Republicans want no one to have a good job.

All lies, of course.

---------------------------------------
It's all a matter of perspective.
Since the GOP has proposed abolishing the EPA, there must be an underlying goal. The end result would certainly be dirty air and water.

Republicans want everyone to fend for themselves. Anything else is (gasp) "Socialism)

Ending Social Security and Medicare would push granny off a cliff.

Republicans only see burning black churches as a last resort. In this day and age, they hope to chase away blacks peacefully. It's only the young ones they seem to want to track down and shoot.

I just found out that health care is a luxury.

Texas just cut education by 5 billion. So apparently, they don't want Republicans in Texas to have a good job. But don't worry, the governor is going to California and New York begging liberals to go to Texas and do the "skilled stuff" Republicans aren't qualified for. That's why they keep the kids from an education. So they won't be qualified either. At least that's what their actions are telling us.

So what is the "other" perspective? I really want to know.

a matter of perspective? Nonsense. It's a flat out lie. And you know it or you wouldn't be backpedaling
Backpedaling? Me? Hilarious. You might want to reread the post. Someone wrote out the GOP agenda thinking they were making a joke. I simply proved it was no joke. The only perspective is how you look at it. The results are the same.

The "thinking" (to use a term very very loosely) of idiots and propagandist hacks like the lowlife rderp is transparent and laughable. When the poor deluded useless idiot sees that many conservatives oppose a national Department of Education, for example, they immediately jump to the "conclusion" that "those" Republicans and conservatives just MUST hate educating our youth.

Tools like rderp seemingly cannot fathom that opposition to a FEDERAL Department of Education is NOT akin to opposing sound education generally.

He repeats that same kind of slovenly "thinking" in almost every example he posts of what the Republicans supposedly believe. I'd like to believe that nobody can be that ignorant and dishonest and illogical and stupid. But that would only make him a knowing liar. And in many cases, that's rderp.

What a pile of shit he is.

that's the problem with almost all his statements. He takes a quote from a Republican, usually some person no one has heard of, rips the statement out if context and pretends everyone in the party agrees with his interpretation of said comments. It's illogical deceitful and every honest intelligent person knows it
No one ever heard of this guy:

or this one:

Obama was force to repeat what he had already said before because his comments were taken out of context which is pretty typical of the GOP you have to admit. Remember "You didn't build that?"

A lot of things Republicans say about Democrats that really surprise me because they are so bizarre.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that many things the Democrats say about Republicans are demonstrably true.

Thoughts?

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican.I am a liberal however and the "other side" I presume are the conservatives.

What is most bothersome to me is how easily one side lies about the other. It's almost a sport at this point to out sensationalize the opposition.

solution is easy. Stop lying

Taking your own advice would be a good first step for you.

The EPA is a victim of its own success, like unions. It should be revamped.

Republicans want everyone to fend for themselves. Anything else is (gasp) "Socialism)

Wrong. Republicans don't think the government is the best way to care for everyone, and they're right. Not the same thing.

Ending Social Security and Medicare would push granny off a cliff.

Not when replaced by other, more common sense measures.

Republicans only see burning black churches as a last resort. In this day and age, they hope to chase away blacks peacefully. It's only the young ones they seem to want to track down and shoot.

That right there is a flat out lie.

I just found out that health care is a luxury.

It is for most of the world.

Another lie. Again, the government isn't the best vehicle to do everything.

So what is the "other" perspective? I really want to know.

Let's add some more lies:

Republicans want to kill gays.
Republicans want black people to be afraid to vote, so they plant a police car 2 blocks away from the polling place, knowing that will scare them away.
Republicans want to prevent everyone from getting an education. This despite democrat opposition to charter, private, and home schooling, all of which produce superior results.

here is one rdean. In case you ignored it

The big lie is that there is any meaningful difference between the two major parties.
When you consider that one party is 90% white and believes education is for snobs and the other party is basically everyone else, that single difference is obvious and enormous.
So a twit might say, oh, but whites make up the majority of the Democratic Party. Clearly the answer is "so what?" And why is that? Because those whites are the whites Republicans don't want. People like gays, atheists, college professors, scientists, liberals, intellectuals, feminists and so on.

You need some serious help.

There are gays, atheists, college professors, scientists in the GOP. Plenty of them.

What you won't fine many of in the democratic party is engineers.

That is because engineers have to make things work economically. Unlike scientists and college professors who have wine corks up their asses....engineers either make it work financially or it does not fly.

You dumbass dipshit. Why would scientists and college professors want to belong to a party where the majority of members believe they walk around all day using wine corks as butt plugs? That's hilarious. Thanks for proving my point.
And as far as the GOP gays? Name a dozen.

You can start here: It's a slideshow of the 10 most famous gays in the GOP from the New York Observer:

Top 10 Power Gay Republicans New York Observer

Now the hilarious part is the slide show has only two slides. And read what the GOP did to the few gays who have come out. It only proves my point.

You guys are funni and so easy to beat.

Beat....???

The only thing you beat is attached to your body.

You claimed academia is liberal. I would agree. They don't live in the real world.

Engineers do.

You are a moron.
Every time you open your pie hole, you make yourself look more and more stupid. Who do you think engineers go to for answers? Do you think any engineer worth his salt makes fun of scientists? I let you go on for awhile, but you are making yourself look beyond stupid into somewhere between zany and insane.

Hilarious. Some years ago I worked on a project that required an optics specialist, or as some called her, a "scientist". Why? Because the understanding necessary was way beyond the understanding of a regular engineer. So where did they find this scientist? NASA. She worked at NASA. So what she worked on were the reflective surfaces, the surface angles which were functions and not simply flat linear surfaces. And, as everyone knows, reflective surfaces could be either a straight reflection or scattered because scattered light produces an even distribution. Or a combination of the two. Which is what it turned out we needed.
Four types of engineers were needed to take the Doctor's vision and translate it into reality. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Production. Do I have to explain what each one does? And when they have questions, who did they go to for answers? They figured it out? EEEEH, wrong. They went to the doctor for suggestions. The solutions came from the engineers. The direction came from the scientist.

Anyone with any brains will look at what I just wrote and know, without a doubt, that I know exactly what I'm talking about. There will be no debate. Because that's how it works.

And after reading what you wrote, and what I wrote, they will come to the conclusion that you are probably an ignorant tard with much too much unwarranted confidence. But there is a cure for what ails you. It's called "education". Then perhaps, you can stay away from the ridiculous.

you don't have a clue what education is

I'll tell you what, if you can find an engineer or a scientist or even a college professor print this out and ask them if it makes sense:

education is far more than going to school and getting a piece of paper saying you know something. You can educate yourself without stepping into and institute of higher learning. In fact you can learn far more if you apply yourself.

and even the so called trailer trash you hate so much can be educated. It's. Not something exclusive to the elites

Hey stupid ass.....

NASA does not exist to generate a profit......

Why don't you sit down and figure out what life is about first....you'll save the rest of us a lot of time rolling on the floor laughing our asses off at you.

You once worked on a project...I'll bet you were the janitor.

Notice you needed the engineers to turn it into hardware ? Did you get that ? Just what I said before.

We had a scientist from R&D show up a while ago and suggest we use a Chlor-Alkali process to generate caustic that could then be used to scrub power plant stack gas to capture CO2 (in the form of carbonate). I almost could not contain myself. I got to explain to them that Chlor Alkali is an electrochemical process that requires electricity...which comes from where ? Silly grin starts to appear.

Then I asked what they intended to do with the chlorine gas that was generated. The answer (with an even bigger silly grin) was to downhole it.

And this person had a PhD from an Ivy League school !

Go gettem Deaner.....take a poll and see who thinks you are smart. Please.....

If RDean worked on a project at NASA, it was to get the coffee and sweep the floors.

All lies, of course.

Republicans want dirty air and water.
Republicans want kids with autism to fend for themselves.
Republicans want to push granny off a cliff.
Republicans want to burn black churches.
Republicans want to take away everyone's healthcare.

The very stupidity of these claims is what makes reading them worth it.

I giggle every time I see Deaner post shit like this.

Now, read these in light of his OP......

The irony is beyond pale.

------------------------------------------
You dumbass dipshit.

You are one stupid jackass and everyone on the board knows it. Take a poll....see how popular you are.

Engineers make fun of scientists all the time. Scientists show up and say "This should work".....and the engineer says "You bet....we can always spend $1.00 to make $0.75". Moron. You are clearly not an engineer nor a scientist.

You telling someone else they are looking beyond stupid is the ultimate irony.

Whoever you paid to educated you...they ripped you off. I suggest you get your money back.

Why'd you lie?

Hey Dean,

If you are so smart...call someone out in the Bullring.

Let's see you do it. Man up and get behind all your oral flatulence.
