What is your style in home decor?

Thanks AquaAthena!
The Wife and I are about to have our Barndo built!
It wont be as extravagant as my pics but it wont be far off.
We're about to purchase 50 acres and have a Barndo built for our dream retirement place.
OH, man! That is one fine Barndo you do have now. I could live there for sure. If you guys want to rent a room in your new place, I am looking to get the heck out of Oregon! :hands:

With 50 plus acres you can possibly move in.
Of course you'd have to be ready for major gunfire on the property.
In Texas you need to have 50 acres to legally shoot centerfire pistols and rifles on private property.
Which of course is why we are buying 50 plus acres.
what is the cost per acre where you live?

It varies across the state.
You can get 50 acres anywhere from $200k to $500k or more.
I'd say the average is around $6k.
r u in texas?

Yep.

Yep.
I would only mow and maintain about 1 acre and let the other 49 acres go to nature.
It's a lot of hard work and expensive to maintain 50 acres.

The range will be maintained and a small section around the house.
And of course around the pond, the SxS trails and shooting lanes for deer hunting.
But other than that it'll grow wild.

I like a place that Marie Kondo would consider too empty.

Wow....my style has changed alot, lol. I'll have to post new pics. Same abode. Just different style now.

Meanwhile.....my style has changed dramatically. I'll post a new pic some day.

They look like weiner dogs with long fur.
I prefer large dogs, more fun to wrestle with and they can be intimidating when necessary.

I know.

But the corgies I know are sweet and wonderful dogs.

I enjoy dogs of all sizes.

They are such bringers of joy.

I'm a Boxer fan.
I've had 8 of them over the years these two being the last set.
They're brother and sister and act like complete goofballs.
The Male Christopher Gadsden is a bit over 80 lbs and his little sister Betsy Ross is around 65 lbs.
