In looking up liberty, there isn't a great deal on the topic itself.

I am asking what are the things you see as your "liberties". And why ?

If we define liberty purely from the perspective of our compound Republic, and we should, it means freedom from government-over-man.

Point of contention - Liberty must never, ever, be spoken or written absent the word responsibility. Liberty-Responsibility

That's Natty C talking, though. Others may answer differently.

Here's a snip from a great book on the topic - "..for every such right there is a correlative, inseparable duty--for every aspect of freedom there is a corresponding responsibility; so that it is always Right-Duty and Freedom-Responsibility, or Liberty- Responsibility."

When I ask what are out liberties on search engines....everything that comes back relates to "civil liberties".

Interesting.
