What a Relief Off My Shoulders

Last Friday I had a colonoscopy and during the procedure the GI doctor found a polyp and removed it. I finally got the call back today, and it was benign! I was so worried because I have been having so many stomach problems and had a polyp removed years ago back when I was only 22. Unfortunately, something is wrong with the flora in my colon and I tested positive for C-Diff again. I had it for several months last year and went through three different types of treatment for it. Well this time he is going straight to the big meds again for a medicine that without insurance cost $3,500 for a two seek supply! Hopefully they will figure out why I have such a poor amount of good bacteria in my stomach that allows the C-Diff to keep coming back, I do take a probiotic, but it doesn't seem to be doing a good enough job.
