I think it is a great portrait regardless of the envy heard from the usual suspects:

Monday, the White House released Melania Trumpā€™s official White House portrait. The image shows the First Lady in a tailored black blazer with a sparkling necktie, looking straight at the camera with her arms crossed. While this may seem standard, an element that is causing outrage from several people on Twitter is that her 25-carat-diamond 10th anniversary ring seems to be featured front and center.

People Are Not Happy About This Detail in Melania Trump's Official Portrait

It is not the diamond ring on her finger, or the jacket Melanie is wearing, that angers envious losers. The fact that she is gorgeous regardless of what she is wearing that is driving them ā€˜round the bend.

Libs do not object to that rare Democrat lady who is attractive. Jackie O. comes to mind. Liberals cannot stand the fact that Melanie is the most physically attractive first lady ever. Being the wife of a Republican adds salt to their wounds.

And you gotta get a kick out of this guy telling off his detractors knowing they cannot afford to buy his cloths anyway. It is such a relief to see the losers of the world finally being told where to go.

Gabbana responded in Italian: ā€œvai a cagare,ā€ which translates to ā€œgo to hell.ā€

Designer Who Dressed Melania Trump for White House Portrait Tells Critics to 'Go to Hell'

God will be in his heaven and all will be right with the world when people with political power tell dirty little moralists on the Left where to go.

No

Historical American figures only please. While probably a very nice woman she has played no role in the advancement of our nation.

We don't need any mail order prostitutes on the money thanks. She prefers the money IN her pocket. Hence the reason to marry Golem's orange brother.

To me, Malanie Trump as first lady is more deserving than anybody who advocated a political cause. Preaching moral horseshit should never be honored. Let those people who agree with an individualā€™s claim to fame do so in the public sector. I include prohibiting monuments to religious hustlers put on the National Mall?

Just so Iā€™m not misunderstood in this thread. Instead of removing a ā€œcontentious phraseā€ from the Martin Luther King Memorial remove the whole damned thing. Leaving it there brings the country one step closer to combining religion and government. That, in itself, is a violation of the First Amendment. Donā€™t expect members of Congress to remove it. They are all philosophically closer to theocratic government than they will ever be to the American people.

WASHINGTON ā€” The Chinese sculptor Lei Yixin finished removing a contentious phrase on the memorial for the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Thursday in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington at the end of the month.

Sculptor Removes Phrase From Memorial to King

The monument turns King into an Oriental-looking white guy; so screw the black racists who are sure to crawl out from under their rocks over my comments. A CHINESE GUY DID IT!

The MLK Memorial is a national disgrace as is the federal holiday honoring Kingā€™s birth. Congress gave the country that one, too. Ronald Reagan opposed it but signed it in the face of a veto-proof majority in Congress. The problem then, and now, is that King was a street hustling preacher not much different than the rest of them except that he made the big time.

XXXXX

The trouble with King is that he was a Christian preacher. Socialists/Communists and limousine liberals hate Christians; so why do they piss their pants at the mention of Kingā€™s name? Some actually have an organism whenever they hear the phrase ā€œI have a dream.ā€ Could it be racism? Put it in perspective this way:

Imagine how the Left would react if a holiday was named after Billy Graham or foreign-born Mother Cabrini; two Christians who did a lot more for this country than King ever did.

Bottom line: Nobody, black or white, whose only claim to fame is moralizing should be honored with tax dollar expenditures. If Kingā€™s admirers in the private sector want to worship him let them do so out of their own pockets ā€”ā€” AND NOT ON PUBLIC LAND.

XXXXX

Where was the ACLU when Kingā€™s Memorial was put on the National Mall? Liberals, usually led by the ACLU, scream bloody murder every time they find a Christian symbol in a government building, or on public land. Kingā€™s monument is the latter; so where is the Leftā€™s outrage?

Even if Kingā€™s monument is dedicated to him as an individual rather than to his religion it does not belong on public land. Honoring individuals on public land should be restricted to individuals who contributed to all Americans.
XXXXX

Nine out of ten stories about MLK refer to him as one of Americaā€™s greatest leaders. MLK was not a national leader by any stretch of the imagination. Leader implies he led the nation. He might have been a spiritual leader to some, but he was still an opportunistic street hustling preacher to a substantial number of Americans. I suppose that will be forgotten in the fullness of time.

No preacher, or spiritual leader if you prefer, belongs on the National Mall because not a one of them leads everybody. Hell, King did not lead anywhere near a majority of Americans.

The only possible good that can come out of keeping Kingā€™s Memorial on the National Mall is that future visitors might compare him to the others who are honored there. Once the comparison is made the obvious question will be ā€œWhat the hell did this guy ever do?ā€

XXXXX

Let me close by saying ā€œI have a dream.ā€ Call in the Army Corps of Engineers and dynamite that memorial out of existence.

Memorials, Hoodies, & Peckers

Bottom line: No dirty little moralist can possible serve every America; hence, they should never get their hands on tax dollars alive or dead.
