Don't touch that car. Do nothing but wash it and wax it with the best quality wax money can buy. Also, polish the chrome with a good chrome polish. DO NOT attempt to alter the paint if that paint is factory original.

He said he was gonna give it a very light buff with a sander to get that repaint off of it and then do some bondo work, and then gloss it up.
He's keeping as original as he possibly can. Good thing the engine looks brand freekin new!!!

There are fabric manufacturers that deal in old model vehicle interior fabrics. They recreate them for you. It's expensive, but this car would be worth it. The interior fabric is pretty much gone, but the padding looks as fluffy, soft, and comfy as ever.

The dashboard needs very little done to it, if anything. The inside door panels need some work, especially the chrome at the bottom of the windows.

He can remove all that chrome around the glass, remove all the glass, scrub it down with glass polish, buff the hell out of it, and the glass will look factory new again. Then he can reseat them in some nice rubber seals and replace the chrome around the windows.

I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Hope he can find some nice, wide, whitewall tires to go with that car!!!
