So that meant over 50% of people in US spent time raising food.

The purpose of this was to get you people that are so accustomed to the Internet, etc. to comprehend WHY you have the time to spend on this. Thanks to the White man civilization we have both the TIME i.e. we don't have spend time finding food or growing food... it's just there! But truly ignorant people are critical of the "white man" that has provided this luxury of time ! Now we don't spend anytime like people did 200 years ago trying to find food or grow food. Thanks to the white man we have not only the time BUT the tools i.e. the internet and computers! Thank you white men!
