Well I have to go get ready. Keep these people in your thoughts. It doesn't sound like it is getting better anytime soon.

The Weather Channel has a huge headline, 100 homes lost.

Yep! Along with a school, post office, and I think a church.
These towns are not that big.

Buzzard complex, a range fire, is now at 280 square miles in size. It is northeast of Burns, in an area I have been in many times. Isolated, and sparsely populated, still, the ranchers there are not wealthy and this is very bad for them as they probably lost most of the hay they have put up.

For the whole of the West Coast, it looks like a very bad fire season.

Yeah, it doesn't look. A few more fires started last night in Central Washington. We are up at the lake, and we could see the smoke slowly settle in.
We didn't get very much rain in June, nothing like we usually get.
