Also wounded in the rampage were two adults, one of whom is a 78-year-old grandfather who was hit by a shot fired by police as they pursued the attacker, officials said.

Lead prosecutor Line Bonnet-Mathis said the suspect’s motives were unknown, but didn’t appear to be terrorism-related. Hanoun was described by French media as a homeless man with no psychiatric or criminal record, and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. His mother, who has lived in the US for 10 years, said she was “in a state of shock” about the attack. “He applied for nationality but was rejected,” presumably because he had served in the Syrian military, she said, adding “that probably drove him mad.”

Other media outlets are claiming this guy was a Syrian Christian....what the fuck? Who are they trying to fool? Basically, this was a muslim who was yelling "In the name of Jesus" to trick people into thinking he is some deranged Christian on a religion motivated attack. It was definitely a religious attack, but that religion was Islam, not Christianity...it also interesting that his mother is living in the US for the last 10 years....what do we know about her? Was she really in shock or did she help her son plan this attack?


Also, we see this guy was committing fraud as is common with most foreigners from darkie majority countries and this is something that must be stopped....This was 100% a radical Islamic attack against western civilization and it's time that we ban muslims here in the states; just look at the havoc they are causing these European countries. This reminds me of the Indian guy who tried to pass himself off as a "white supremacist" when in fact, he was just a deranged foreigner who shouldn't have been here in the first place.

There are many Christians in Syria, still. And the main issue is that he was mentally ill.


Many Muslim countries have a good number of Arabs, Persians, etc in Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, etc Christians amongst them as they converted to Christianity.
