in the wee hours, I'd be listening to Clyde Clifford's radio program "Beeker Street"...
on "The Mighty Ten-Ninety, KAAY, Little Rock"...
high-powered clear-channel AM radio station back then...
nearly as powerful as anything coming outta Mexico...
pioneered the broadcasting of underground music several years before FM arrived...
eta: I can still remember the warm wonderful smell of my tube-filled Arvin table-top radio...
as I nodded off to the best of what qualified as late-60's alt rock...
