Was Bush The Worst President in Public Opinion?

If lying to the nation, starting false wars, losing 3/4 of a million jobs a month, and spending ourselves into oblivion was things you hate then why do you seem to take a shine to Obama.

He's done all of the above.

We all know about Libya and his attempt to wage war in Syria, but Obama has lost millions of jobs since he's been in office. 8 million. And he's increased the debt by nearly $7 trillion.

Oh, I get it. That was all Boooooooosh's fault.

You don't actually believe those lies you made up, do you? :cuckoo:

Obama has had over 52 months straight of positive job growth, and turned the nation around virtually overnight once coming into office.

Not to mention Obama created more private sector jobs in his first 6 months, than W did during his entire presidency.

Obama fudges the books. To get under 8% unemployment before the election he totally dropped the numbers from California. The last couple of years he's been managing a stagnant economy. We haven't had 2% growth in years. Most of the job growth we are experiencing he has nothing to do with because there is no jobs program coming from the White House. Just speeches. The labor participation rate was much higher before he took office. In 2008 it was 66%. Now it's currently 63.2%.

He pushed back implementation of Obamacare till 2015 just so we wouldn't see all of the jobs it will cost.

Oh, I take back some of what I said. Obama is causing more 'underemployment'. His policies are causing higher underemployment. Many companies in anticipation of Obamacare are cutting back on employee hours. Thousands of people have been cut back to under 30 hrs a week.

I can't see how you think that a president that has so many anti-business policies is helping along the economy. Just shows how little you know.
You forgot to add that the 87 BILLION dollars a month being pumped into the market from the Fed is responsible for nearly 95% of any and all economic growth.

Not a single thing done by Obama has improved the economy.

The $87 bil/mo is really stimulus.......and has been changed to "Investment".

Handing out billions to the rich sure helps Obama grow the Middle Class, doesn't it?

Liberal thinking sucks! They are wrong but will not see it or admit it.

Conservatives mainly deserve to share part of the overall blame due to acting too much like liberals at times. The Tea Party thinking is correct!

Always fun to look back at actual historical data. The libs would have us believe Bush was the worst president, leaving office in a firestorm of failure and odium. Maybe Richard Nixon was worse. Maybe. But no one supported Bush. All through his 2 terms his support was only tepid. After all he won the 2000 election with a minority of popular votes cast. Right?

Wrong.
In fact of the post war presidents Bush enjoyed the highest level of support at any given point, 90% approval. When he left office he did not have the lowest level of support. Not even Nixon had the lowest level. The holder of that record was Democrat hero Harry S Truman, at 22% approval. Nixon was at 24% and Bush at 25%.
In contrast Obama's top number was 68%, when he got into office. It's largely been downhill since there, to 43% currently. All of this is Gallup's polling.

public-opinion polls regarding "best" and "worst" presidents ain't worth the paper they're printed on...

pollsters with an agenda ask weighted questions of respondents, the majority of whom are shallow-thinking dumb-shit motherfuckers who follow whatever the MSM and/or their political leaders feeds 'em...

that's what I SAID- pubs love it, and blocked everything else- jobs/infrastucture bill ETC, but did do phony crises...

What's your point?

Congress blocked Obama. He submitted a budget that nobody voted for, even his own party.

So what does he do? He goes around congress and continues to screw up the economy without their approval.

In what way does this seem like the GOP's fault?

Bush will be treated better by history than the current progressive media treats him. The same way that the fuckup in chief we have now will go down as much much worse than the current narrative has the low information folks thinking.

Worst prez is Hussein because he is a dismal failure. Best were W and Reagan. 2nd worst was Clinton who let the Muslime terrorists organize 911 right under his big, red, bulbous nose because he was too busy committing adultery to pay attention.

Why should America, a nation of 300 million people have to suffer a bad president? Are political parties simply not capable of selecting good candidates or do they keep trying to slip a ringer past the people? With 3 or 4 million people we had a Washington, a Jefferson, yet today we have a choice of a Harding, a Grant a Bush. Our political parties have to be smarter than that? Most politicians spend their life in politics, can they not know the difference between good and bad people, yet here they come again with a loser?

But maybe it's us, maybe it's we the people, do we voters demand good candidates, would we know a good candidate if presented, are we carried away with cheap propaganda?

While thats generally true I posted this to show that people's impressions today differ from the reality of the past. So today everyone thinks Give Em Hell Harry Truman was the most beloved president in history. But when he left office his approval rating was the worst. Similarly everyone hated Nixon by the time he resigned, right? No not really.

That's a valid point.

Besides that, I don't care if %80 of the country loved the moonbat messiah and believed he saved the world.

That would just mean %80 of the country was retarded, rather than the %40 that must be if current polls reflect the true numbers.

My oppinion of the moonbat messiah is what it is due to his record, the oppinions of other people do not matter. If they can't see what a complete goat fuck his administration is, that's their problem.
