Democrats were hoping to win their phony "war on women" meme to defeat Republicans this season. Looks like it isnt working. In Colorado Udall has been the most ardent proponent of that, earning the nickname "Mark Uterus" for his unfailing flogging of "women's issues", chiefly reproduction and abortion. He's losing badly.
Dems are losing out as married women, traditionally strong GOP voters anyway, are going more to the GOP and single women just arent as interested as men in the election.
I personally am happy to see this particular bit of demagoguery fall flat. Question, when Dem strategy like War on Women, War on Blacks, War on the Middle Class fails, what will Democrats run on?
